Bonza Bike Tours was founded in 2004 to create a unique experience in Sydney. Before we came around, there was no way to see all that Sydney has to offer without killing your feet or being stuck behind the window of a bus. We focus on creating a fun environment where you can become part of the active lifestyle that Sydney is famous for, while having a few laughs with fellow travelers. We look forward to seeing you in Sydney – and Melbourne, too!

Was very impressed with the help given to me and my wife with the knowledge of the routes and recommended stops. We had such a brilliant time on the bikes and with the stops at the local pubs And viewpoints which we wouldn't of known about it made for a memorable day. Highly recommended!

Did the bike tour today. Our guide Brady was excellent and shared many great tips and facts along the way. He even had a few good jokes. :) The tour was an excellent way to see the city and now we know the places we want to go back for more and the places we want to skip. Only negatives... More

Hey guys, Glad to hear that you had a great time with Brady on your tour. It definitely is a good way to get around the city and check out lots of places in a short amount of time. Sydney is a very busy city, especially over the Christmas and New Years period, so there are a lot of people... More

It took over 45 minutes to get everyone fitted for a bike. I would think they do this every day and would have a more organized system. Maybe start tours at different times! Genius idea. I enjoyed most of the tour except the bar/hotel stop for a beer. I don't really care for beer and the 45 minute stop for... More

Four of us took the bike tour one morning in Sydney. It was very fun and informative, we learned a great deal about the City and saw all of the points of interest. Our tour guide, Jo, was very friendly and took the time to take pictures of our group and answer our questions. The tour did run slightly longer... More

Bonza Bike Tours and their team blew our 4 hour city tour out of the water! The bike leaders were so knowledgeable of the city and its history. This was by far one of the highlights of the trip as it allows you to see the city and it's historic pubs, sites, buildings and attractions in a short period. From... More

This was really a perfect way to get to know the most beautiful parts of Sydney. All the way around the docks and the harbour and through the "old" part of the city with lots of interesting information and history. Our guide Steve was perfect in his role - cheerful and thoughtful.

We had a great time getting the lay of the land in Sydney and orienting ourselves. We learned history, aussie phrases and anecdotes from our hilarious guide Steve. I loved riding around the city and seeing so many things in such a short period.

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
