About Dolphin Marine Conservation Park
Experience marine animals up close. Discover how you can help preserve our wildlife and their environments every day. Be inspired to act and save our marine animals and oceans. Dolphin Marine Conservation Park is Coffs Harbour's best experience. Located on the beautiful Mid-North Coast of NSW, in Coffs Harbour, close to the Jetty precinct and adjacent the Coffs Creek. Our marine park opened 50 years ago, Boxing Day 1970, as a rescue and rehabilitation centre for native marine animals and we continue this vital service today. Dolphin Marine Conservation Park is the only destination in Australia where you can experience unique marine mammals up close including bottle-nosed dolphins, endangered Australian Sea Lions, Little Blue Penguins, Freshwater Turtles and local Reef Fish. Plus you can see our Animal Rehabilitation hospital at work. We rescue, rehabilitate and release hundreds of turtles every year. Open 9-3.30 daily. Licensed Creekside Cafe 7:30-2:30.

The staff should be very proud of their achievements involving the rescue and rehabilitation of marine animals. The exhibits are good to see. The park is a little small though, and only takes about an hour to see everything. The dolphins, seals and penguins are fun, the turtle rehabilitation talk is good and the fish and shark reef exhibits are good. Despite being a little on the small side, the park is very worthy of our support.

Thank you for your fantastic review and feedback, C3157PDjom. It was our pleasure to host you and your daughter and we're thrilled she enjoyed her Ultimate Dolphin Experience with Jet so much. It's certainly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that she will cherish for years to come, and you too! Yvette is a very knowledgeable and avid conservation and sustainability advocate, as are most of our dedicated team members. We love nothing more than inspiring guests to learn about marine animals and environments and encouraging them to act mindfully every day to take greater care of our oceans for future generations. Thanks again for visiting and supporting Dolphin Marine Conservation Park.

We spent several hours here enjoying the grounds and watching the dolphins and seal perform. There are other animals here as well and it is worth the entry fee to go. There is a gift shop as well as educational talks too. Dolphins are amazing animals and you can see the different personalities shine through.

We had an excellent time at the Dolphin Marine Conservation Park. Due to COVID there was a small tour that was intimate that needed to be booked prior and the biggest highlight were the dolphins and turtles! You can see these animals are well kept and happy! The guide was very informative with what they do with all the animals and had great facts about them. “Jonique Life” Follow our journey around Australia on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube as we highlight wonderful experiences and magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

What a wonderful review, joniquelife. We're delighted that you experienced such an excellent visit and appreciate the tireless dedication of our marine team in caring for our marine and other animals. With Covid-19 we have had to adapt and adjust like many organisations and we're always improving ways we can share our vision for marine conservation with the community. The dolphins and turtles are a joy, aren't they! Thanks again.

We had such a great time at the park, beautiful animals, great informative keepers who were happy to explain things and offer info on the animals and the rehabilitation efforts they are involved in. I had seen the negative reviews on this place and was still interested to take my 6 yr old. Can I just say, my experience was fantastic. I’m surprised at the comments made as they did not reflect any of what we experienced. It is a small park but that doesn’t take away from it in any way what so ever. The dolphin show was awesome - definitely something you don’t get to see everyday. I Would highly recommend this park. Their conservation efforts should be commended.

Wow! You have certainly made our day, sydneybabe1. Thank you for your great review and 5-star recommendation! We are thrilled that you enjoyed such a fantastic visit to Dolphin Marine Conservation Park. We are a boutique park but our team work extremely hard to offer great value and love nothing more than sharing their knowledge about our magnificent marine animals. You are so right. There is nowhere else on the east coast of Australia where you can experience these wonderful marine ambassadors so close and have all your questions answered by our dedicated marine team. We hope we inspired your 6-year-old to be a marine ambassador so that future generations can enjoy dolphins, endangered Australian Sea Lions, Little Blue Penguins, Sea Turtles and Freshwater Turtles. Thanks again, we hope to warmly welcome you back another time.
