About Dolphin Marine Conservation Park
Experience dolphins, sea lions and penguins up close. Book a private land-based marine animal experience or swim with a dolphin and make incredible memories that will last forever. Be inspired to act and save marine animals and oceans. Dolphin Marine Conservation Park is Coffs Harbour's best family experience. Located on the beautiful Mid-North Coast of NSW in Coffs Harbour, our park opened over 50 years ago as a rescue and rehabilitation centre for sick and injured marine animals and we continue this vital service today. Dolphin Marine Conservation Park is the only place in Australia where you can experience marine mammals up so close including bottle-nosed dolphins, endangered Australian Sea Lions, Little Blue Penguins, Freshwater Turtles and local Reef Fish. Plus you can see our marine animal and rehabilitation hospital at work. We rescue, rehabilitate and release hundreds of sea turtles every year. Open 10-2 daily. Licensed Creekside Cafe 8-2 daily. Open longer in school holidays.

Swimming with dolphins has been a a bucket list item for a long time. This was the perfect place to enjoy a cuddle with one of the most magnificent creatures. The centre is small and run by lovely, welcoming staff. You only need an hour or two to visit the enclosures and if you have time pre-book an encounter. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you

We really enjoyed our visit to the dolphin sanctuary. The variety of keeper ‘talks’ and marine animals on show was excellent. Being able to see feeding up so close was great. For us, the dolphins were the highlight.

If you’ve ever visited similar (themed) parks e.g SeaWorld you’ll need to drastically lower your expectations before walking in the door. The staff were great and the concept of the park is admirable, but there’s really very little here to amuse, or occupy for more than 60minutes, and it’s not a particularly cheap exercise for what little is on offer. Overall it’s amateurish at best and presumably started as a ‘folly’ back in the day and is now quite dated and tired. As mentioned the staff were very friendly and accommodating but I couldn’t recommend it as remotely worthy of your hard earned I’m truly sorry to say.

We came here by chance as a wet weather activity and we are so glad we did! It was the highlight of our week in the area. Amazingly knowledge and caring staff. The animals are so week looked after. I highly recommend.

We travelled 9 hours to visit the Dolphin Marine Conservation Park for my Birthday and it was everything plus more of what I expected. Magical day that left me with memories I will treasure forever. Thank you to Bell, Alex, Sarah and all the hard working staff. You are awesome. We left the park with the biggest smiles. You all do such an amazing job educating people about our beautiful marine life and better ways to care for them in their natural environments. Keep our waters & beaches clean !!! Put all rubbish in the bin. Can't wait to come back again next year.
