Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our tour guide Clark was incredible with us. He made us feel very welcome and was teaching us all about the land we were Stand Up Paddling on! Couldn’t be happier with my experience!

Learning to paddle board was great. Clarke and Jamie were great teachers and provided plenty of moral support to beginners. Best of all was listening to Clarke and Jamie’s knowledge of the country and the waterways, what it means to First Nations people, how country, language and people are intrinsically connected and how First Nations people have always had a sophisticated understanding of how country - land and water - needs to be managed in order to stay healthy and sustain its inhabitants; people as well as wildlife, marine life, bird life and native plants and forests. I will definitely be back to participate in another cultural tour. It’s not only a great way to experience this part of the world but in doing so one gets to contribute to the survival of the local Gumbaynggirr language, (which Clarke and Jamie speak), as the tour company contributes financially to the first bilingual indigenous language school in NSW.

An incredible Experience learning about the culture and land of the First Nations people.

I had two 9 year olds who shared a board and my wife and I were seperate. Clarke was an incredible guide who taught us lots about of history as we slowly paddled down the creek through crystal clear blue water teaming with fish.

We learnt about the history of the two sisters and the creation of the ocean. Where to dig for fresh water and how it is filter. Lots of language. It was a great way to spend an afternoon.

We booked at very short notice and the friendly staff member we spoke to went to a lot of effort to accommodate us. We did the stand up paddle board tour at Moonee with Clark who arrived on time with a smile. Clark was very knowledgeable sharing the history of the area, his personal connections to country as well as important cultural sites. Can't speak highly enough of Clark who is also the Principal of NSW's first bilingual school of an Aboriginal language. The paddle boarding is quite easy to do and it is a very peaceful way to travel. We saw lots of fish and small stingrays in the estuary. This experience was the highlight of our stay in the region. Highly recommended.

My partner and I travelled from Melbourne to Coffs Harbour for a two week holiday. Our full day tour with Clarky and Nathan was by far the highlight! It was such a privilege to be taken to many important cultural sites and learn about the history of the area. We wish them the best in all their important endeavours and will absolutely return to stay at the new Eco Lodge when it is completed.

This was the first time we tried the SUP board. With the tips provided by Shane and Jimmy, we managed to stay up on the board all the way through. The Corindi River was so peaceful in the early morning, Shane showed us a couple of interesting spots and shared with us the Aboriginal History and Culture related to the land and river.

Thanks to Shane and Jimmy, we really enjoyed the tour.

As real as it gets. Totally awesome experience today paddle boarding Moonee Creek on the homelands of the Gumbaynggirr tribal nation. My 20yo son and I were led by our brilliant guide, Clark and his family, direct descendants of the world’s first stand up paddlers.

Ancient and precious connection to land and sea shared with us through language and stories ... just the best. We had limited paddleboard experience and it was really easy and safe.

This tour is a must do when visiting the Coffs Coast! Our guide was so friendly and taught us so much about Indigenous culture and the local area. Add in some beautiful scenery and it was the perfect way to spend a morning. Can’t recommend highly enough!
