Boomerang Beach is simply a superb beach, with plenty of beautiful golden sand between two rugged headlands, great views, surf rolling in in perfect crescents and even dolphins occasionally surfing the waves. In addition, within easy walking distance are Bluey's, Elizabeth and Shelly Beaches, as well as Wallis Lake - all quite different but all excellent and offering a choice... More

I spent 5 nights at Boomerang Beach, it was beautiful & very relaxing. The beach was nice and Mobys Resort restaurant food was absolutely delicious. I will definitely go back,

We visited Boomerang Beach after a stay in Forster and found this area to be a very nice beach with good coastal and ocean views. When travelling along the coast from Forster towards Seal Rocks make sure you venture off Lakes way to see some of these views.

The sand is so soft and nice. The beach is spotless and the water is so clean. It's not patrolled and there seems to be quite a bit of chop and rip. Nearby (walking) beaches are patrolled

Superb spot on the mid north coast about 2 - 3 hours from Sydney Its not just this one beach (Boomerang), its the fact that there are 5 beaches within 10 min drive that all face a different direction so you can find that great wave or idyllic spot to relax. There is also a col little township with a... More

It took a few windy roads to find it but well worth the effort. Plenty of free parking when you get there. Toilets there too. The beach was great. I was only swimming but the waves were quite big and would spin me around each time, which was fun but would prob be too much for a kid.

Boomerang Beach is a wonderful surfing beach which gets great breaks. The beach is clean and the views are magnificent. There is lots of parking and at the northern end there is an amenities block and a couple of nice picnic tables. There is also a viewing platform which allows you to check out the surf. Just remember this beach... More

Imagine a the perfect family surf beach, then you are at Boomerang. Parking is plentiful, and although there is no surf club (5 minutes drive North to Elizabeth beach if you want a patrolled beach), Boomerang offers excellent quality sand, small to medium waves, and, for the keen, the opportunity to throw a line in and catch a few. Worth... More
