Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fitzroy Falls in the Morton National Park is so beautiful. We were lucky it was one of the stop that our day tour with Perfect Day Sydney did. We also got to see a kookaburra hanging out near the falls during our visit. The visitor center offered a lot of information on the area.

We visited this amazing place after leaving Moss Vale (go visit!) and so glad we did. The car park is huge and the visitor centre well laid out (the giant spider from the ceiling not my thing!)
The board walks are clean an clear of leaf mulch (good for avoiding leeches) and the walks are really well sign posted and the timings accurate.

Our reaction to the view was - 'Wow'! It really is, as you turn the corner this amazing prehistoric vista opens up. The falls on one side and the valley in front of you. You are very very high up so if heights aren't our thing be warned!

The wildlife was amazing - lots of see and do.

As such the falls are small but they are located in a beautiful nature reserve about 23 km from Bowral. One can see the deep cliff into which the water falls.

There is no entry fee except for the parking fee at the visitors center. The centre has a good collection of souvenirs. The falls are located 150 meters from the centre. There is a 3.5 km long return path to watch the falls from the western rim side; and a 6.5 km returns path to the eastern rim. A good trekking location. Rain prevented us to explore these two longer paths. There is no public transport to the site. One can combine this trip with a visit to the Bradman centre in Bowral which is about 120 km from Sydney connected by train. Best option is to drive from Sydney.

What a beautiful way to start the day. We took the west walk which apparently has the best view of the falls. It was a pretty easy 1.5 hour walk with many places to see the falls.

Lovely views of the falls. If you have time, there are some great hiking tracks to check out. The falls do require mobility

Just 20 minutes from Bowral, this is a must visit when you are at the southern highlands

The 1.5 h return hike is full of stunning scenes and plenty of waterfalls.

Do take a toilet stop before you start as there are no toilet amenities along the way.

Great spot to visit, even on a cloudy day. The falls are beautiful and there are a number of walks to take. The Visitor Centre is also very nice, with a great range of beautiful mementos and Australian gifts.

Fitzroy falls is very easily accessed and only a fwee hundred metres to were the water flows over the cliff. You can take an easy 400 mtr walk to the next lookout to view the falls head on.

Stunning views and a gorgeous hike through the scenic southern highlands. On a great day you can capture some amazing photographs if you’re willing to climb over a few railings and take the risk. There is also a waterfall you can walk under (only small) but worth the hike for the photograph. Overall an amazing experience and we will do it again.

We went on a trip through Berry and onto Bowral. This place was quiet, truely Australian and welcoming. The waterfall was great even for someone who doesn't like heights (me) but thr view was amazing, must see!
