We knew that we wouldn't get the full experience with our 4 and 5 year olds, but we enjoyed the short 150m trail through the rainforest with them. Of course we did walk a short part of the climb of the Mount and it looked...More

My partner and I climbed together. He is an experienced hiker and I am just starting out. I found it quite challenging but it was an excellent hike with the views well worth it, and I'm still able to walk the day after! Even though...More

This was so much fun. We headed off with our 7 and 3 year old to see how far we could get. We got as far as the ropes on the rocks. This was just to hard for us to manage. However the kids did...More

My friends and I decided to hike up for the sunrise, which meant an extremely early start and only just making it to the top in time despite a rapid ascent, my advice would be to allow a very minimum of two hours to climb...More

Climbing Mount Warning is a great, vigorous activity throughout lush rainforests. The last part of the hike is scrambling with very steep terrain. A chain is there for your safety. Pay attention to every step. Once up there, you'll be rewarded with stunning vistas.

My brother and I completed the hike (approx 9km) in approx 2.5 hours in the late afternoon. It was one of the most strenuous hikes I've ever done, particularly with the last 250m of climbing - pulling yourself up the rock faces with a chain....More

Guys, the view is just amazing. The best thing to do is to see the sky at the night from the top so I would recon the arrival 1:30hr before the sunrise. Took us 2hrs to go up and we had the oldest (70) and...More

Personally I don't think a tour is needed, the path is pretty clear cut. Just remember to pack a bag with some water and food, plus if you're going for the sunrise, a flash light and a jumper. Happy hiking! :)
