Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We spent a wonderful afternoon with our 2yo kid, who absolutely loved every second of it and cannot wait to go back. It's great fun and informative for all, not to mention that the stars (the animals) are super friendly and very well behaved towards visitors - no doubt courtesy of Ilaria's passion and love for each of them. A highly recommended experience.

We visited the farm for my daughter's 6th birthday party. It was so lovely for everyone to meet all the animals and enjoy being outdoors. Ilaria and family were wonderful hosts and everything was very easy. We loved the educational aspect and our kids ages ranged from 2-13 years and they all had a great time...the parents did too! Highly recommended :)

We visited Tatum Hills Farm about a month ago when we were in the Canberra area and it was lovely. We did happen to be the only people there without kids but were welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed our time there with the fantastic hostess Ilaria. The animal encounters were terrific and we had just as much fun as the kids around us did! Very cool!

My husband & I recently visited Tatum hills farm with 8 children (an after school treat on our animal loving daughter's 7th birthday). Just over 30 mins drive from inner south Canberra it was well worth the trip! Ilaria & her daughter were waiting to meet us with a warm welcome at our arranged time. The children were delighted to meet, pat & feed the llama's. This was the highlight of the visit & it was interesting to hear some information about these beautiful animals. After the encounter with the llama's we went on to meet & feed goats, ducks and chickens. The children got to collect eggs and pat a bunny. They were also excited to see some very cute guinea pigs. We were most impressed by the obvious love the owners have for their animals. So nice to see! The one hour tour was a perfect after school activity and at $12 per head (minimum charge $100) I would highly recommend tatum hills as a school holiday excursion for a group of friends. Booking well in advance is required for weekend birthday parties which sound like great fun. A one hour farm tour is perfect for midweek. We look forward to visiting Tatum hills again!

20 almost 5 year olds decended, accompanied by their parents, upon the Tatum Hills farm on a Sunday morning to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I can honestly say that the group of boys and girls had an incredible morning of patting Llamas, wheelbarrow races, egg hunts and frolicking with, and learning about, the animals. Would recommend this to all as place to get together on a birthday with a space that . Self catering and the hosts are very accommodating , nothing was a problem. Thank you very much !

Four families with three year olds descended on Tatum Hills Farm today and had a fabulous time! We kissed llamas, hugged guinea pigs, petted goats, hunted for eggs, and fed every animal we could find. Ilaria and her daughter were informative and accommodating hosts and made our visit a terrific experience. We loved the craft activities and enjoyed our lunch in the facilities provided. Thanks for a great family friendly day ;)

We took my mother to Tatum Hills Farm because she loves llamas. They did a great job educating us on llamas and setting up a picnic table for lunch with fantastic views.
We got to spend an hour eating and hanging out with the animals. It was money well spent. We all had a fantastic day and will be back again!

My daughter had her 10th birthday party there on the weekend with 11 of her friends. They had a great time and they would recommend it to others as would I. Illaria was a fantastic hostess and the activities were great. The farm is an easy drive from Canberra. If you are looking for a "unique, educational and fun" (words from the girls) birthday venue then look no further.

We booked the Plus Tour on a sunny Sunday morning (4families and 4 children under 4years old) and had a beautiful time among the animals. We got to pat and feed the lamas, chickens and goats. The kids even went on an egg hunt! The tout is very educational.
Illaria is a passionate and professional guide, punctual and organised. Animals are loved and well cared for. We will be back !

This place is exotic. Fun learning experience for kids as well as adults. The farm hosts were extremely helpful in every way and made sure we leave with a joyous experience for a very small fee. Highly recommend for visit.
