You can walk the trail up to the top of Black Mountain through the Botanic Gardens, and this is probably the nicest way to do it. However, if you do not want so much uphill walking, then drive up, and park at the carpark towards...More

Definitely worth a drive to the top, too go up the Telstra tower and see the 360 degree views of Canberra. Be careful when driving up as people do ride and walk as well and the road is quiet narrow and bendy, so watch out...More

One of the nice things about Canberra is its abundance of parks and reserves. When visiting the Telstra Tower you can avail yourself of this nature park. Plenty of areas to walk or bike ride and bring a picnic for a great place to have...More

We parked at the carpark about 3/4 of the way along the road near the Tower. We followed the trail that looped the mountain, then followed the trail down the mountain and into the back of the Botanic Gardens, then returned to our car along...More

Visiting our Nations Capital, this is a must do. Stunning views of Canberra and surrounds, and for the more adventurous take the lift. To the top of the tower

The photos we get here is absolutely stunning! Get there at sunset and you'll have a bunch of beautiful photos to take with you. We have always endeavoured to have a picnic out there - but never found the right spot.
