Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Food and wine was great but the staff member who we assumed was the Restaurant Manager was curt, dismissive and actually quite rude. When we were paying our bill he said 'see you next time you pass through', which might have been fine if he actually looked at us when he said it. And...we weren't just 'passing though'....we are local, so return custom should matter to this business.

Three stars because the meals were great but the service was lacking.

The staff at Lerida Estate - Mel, John and Bec on our visit - were really friendly and clearly interested in providing an enjoyable experience for guests. We went for the wine tasting and the young sommelier, John, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. His genuine and disarming approach complimented the terrific wines perfectly. It's been a few years since our last visit and I really appreciate what they've done to enhance the amenity of the cellar door. With the dining area now clearly defined in the barrel room it makes for a more relaxing and safely distanced approach for wine tastings, utilising the superb architecture of this building wonderfully. Do it!

On the way into Canberra, at the foot of the Cullerin Range at Lake George, we visited Lerida Estate for a wine tasting of their cool climate wines. You can try their wines in a tasting for $10, buy a glass, cheese board or even dine in. It is certainly a unique and picturesque spot with stunning views

Wine excellent especially the Pinot Noir and service was great. We had lunch and great view. While the entree was good the main meal was very ordinary and not to standard for a good restaurant. Duck was tasteless.

Wonderful experience. We celebrated my husbands Birthday at Lerida Estate, with wine tasting and lunch. James provided excellent knowledge of the wines, the food was fabulous, added to that were the amazing views of Lake George.

Seated inside in a dining room but there was no view.... Seemed bizarre as the view there is spectacular. Wine didn’t really take centre stage as you would expect at a vineyard but what we had was nice. Entree was fabulous, mains all round were not good, tasteless, dry and overcooked. Desserts weren’t bad. We had a vegetarian and a vegan in our group ... Our vegan had their meal arrive topped with cheese after specifically asking if it was vegan, he is also still waiting to know if there are any dessert options for vegans. High prices for average food and service, won’t be going back.

Cold, wet and windy on the road and i saw the sign to Lerida Estate. Pulled in and was not disapointed. From the lovely scenery of the vineyard to the restaurant and friendly staff. All I needed was a coffee and a break from the road, I was welcomed by nice staff and ended up having coffee and Creme Brulee with a poached pear. This was an exceptional food experience. I liked the wine barrels and the painted fronts, the heating and bathrooms and in the current COVID19 climate it was all very safe. I will drop in again and maybe if more organised book a wine tasteing.

Bit disappointing, wines very overpriced and have tasted better at the price charged. Service in restaurant for lunch started excellent, but diminished quickly. Gluten free meal was deep fried in oil used for “regular” diet foods, big no no. Had to ask twice for dessert menu. Was asked on booking if a special occasion and yes it was, a 70th birthday. Why did you ask, nothing special done, no recognition of birthday girl or anything, strange.
