Some friend and I took a segway ride at Seg Glide Ride Segway Hire around Lake Burley Griffin and it was fantastic fun. Seg Glide Ride is located in Canberra in the suburb of Parkes. Not the town of Parkes. Just to let you know.

Firstly the organisation surrounding this tour is impressive. Our available time to take a Segway tour was limited and the tour had been booked out. However the lady I spoke to took my name and number and rang when a cancellation became available. Good instructions...More

We came up to Canberra to visit the Cartier exhibition and stumbled across the Seg Glide Ride. It was lots of fun and a great way to see the sights!

The family , 2 Kids and 2 adults, hired Segway’s to see lake burley griffen. The instructors were informative and courteous. Definitely recommend the one hour tour as 30 mins just isn’t enough!! Best thing to do in Canberra!!!

For a teenage boy and his middle aged mother what great fun. Despite my apprehension. Good safety briefing and time to practice before heading off . Defiantly do the hour you see so much more of Canberra . Would love to go again

Sorry for late reply, I've been away and just saw your question. I think it's strictly one segway per person per booking as you are taken on a guided tour.

Any comfortable flat shoes including sandals would be appropriate for this activity. Any dress would be okay too, although I'd avoid any type of lightweight skirt or dress. You do travel across a wide bridge during the ride... More
