A brilliant design for our parliamentarians. Very spacious and wonderful exhibitions. A must see when in Canberra.

There are many things to see and do in Parliament House. It is steeped in history and you can sit in the Senate and The House of Representatives. It's interesting to see the different portraits that are painted of parliamentarians and the body language displayed. We had morning tea in the Queen's Terrace which didn't disappoint. If you've got time, do that too.

Trying to see all the sights while in Canberra and couldn't overlook Parliament House. Not only were the staff friendly and welcoming, but the building itself was extraordinary. Not the best place for young kids as I think they enjoyed rolling on the grass more than anything actually inside the building (ha!) but who can blame them?

A pity that parliament was not sitting when we visited as it was a shame to see such opulent chambers empty considering tax payers have paid for this. The gardens are manicured but also pretty empty.

Such an eye opener and definitely makes you appreciate the way our government works. Our tour guide Bruce did an amazing job keeping my kids engaged and we all definitely left knowing a bit more. There was also an amazing replica of the Parliament House by Brickman (of Lego Master fame) and my kids loved it too so make sure you find it if you have kids with you. Did the obligatory roll down the hill of parliament house. Easy parking. Definitely visit.

From the moment we walked through the doors we were welcomed warmly by one of the staff. Even the security staff at the screening area were happy and welcoming.

The lady who greeted us at the door provided such interesting information and tips on what to see while visiting - specifically tailored to our kids. My 11 year old was so excited about there being a Lego model of Parliament House! And it certainly lived up to his expectations! It was amazing! And so many mini figures 😂

Very interesting to see the House of Representatives and the Senate and other things within the House.

Don’t visit Canberra without visiting Parliament House.

I always feel so proud as an Australian to be able to walk (or drive) into our highest seat of democracy without any prejudice or pressure or arduous security checks. Shows to me that we are a young, great nation united together.

Drove here during the day and it looked magnificent!
Went later that evening after dinner and it looked majestic with all its lights on display. Was dark but we managed to do a Easter egg hunt right outside the doors 😊 (no lies) it is a place I will make sure I visit everytime I am in town or passing through. America have their white house and we have this beautiful structure and stunning garden and water features. God bless Australia 💛
