A great adventure especially for those with teenage and early 20's children. I loved the atmosphere and the beautifully executed props, room, and artefacts. The puzzles were engaging, satisfying to solve, and gave everyone in our team something to do. A good variety of mental exercises, but not too taxing or stressful for an informal holiday adventure, pitched just right.

Such an enjoyable experience with great, friendly staff. We had so much fun in the first room that we came back the next day to complete the other two. The puzzles had a good level of challenge but we’re still achievable and left you with a sense of accomplishment. Can’t wait to come back when they create more rooms in the future. The puzzles need to be solved sequentially but that helps follow the steps of the room. Curio probably had the best story but the vault and Salem had some really creative puzzles. We were very late to the first room but the staff were so lovely and still let us finish. Shout out to Zack for being such a fun and friendly game master and making our trip so much fun. You couldn’t hire a better staff member if you tried!

The House on The Hill experience was one of the better escape rooms we have done. Having a group of 5 across all age brackets, it was important that all had the opportunity to participate. This was achieved with everything contributing in some way. Would highly recommend.

I've visited many times over the years, and referred heaps of friends. I've also done escape rooms all over the world. The experience and service at Escape Rooms Canberra is always above and beyond expectations. You guys should be super proud! My latest visit was with 8 family and friends, a lot were first timers, and they are all still talking about it and how it was the best night ever. Keep killing it!

We booked 2 rooms for my daughter’s birthday party - Curio for her and her friends (group of 6) and The Vault for the rest of our family (group of 4). Both groups started at the same time, and were finished in around 70 minutes. My daughter and her friends had done The Vault previously, so wanted to try something new, whereas the rest of our family hadn’t done an escape room before. There were lots of things to solve in our room, which lead to another room and more puzzles and so on. Lots of problems we needed to work together to solve, plus other things people were able to figure out individually to keep us progressing. We needed to ask for hints a couple of times, which allowed us to get back on track. We thought we were done a few times but there were more puzzles to solve before we finished - lots of fun and a great way to spend time with friends and family. Afterwards we headed to the bar area out the back of their venue and ordered drinks to have with the cake we took along. The whole group then talked about their respective rooms / experiences, so it’ll be good to go back to try something new.

Everything was amazing from staff being so warm & welcoming, so friendly and down to earth. Even to the rooms, we loved every minute of it, so much so we went two nights in a row, each night a different room and still planning to go back again to try the other escape room! Definitely an experience you need to have and also highly recommend!

My son and I have done a few escape rooms as we travel around, but this gets top marks. We did the House on the Hill and it could not be faulted. Sometimes rooms show heavy signs of wear and tear, where obvious use in certain areas almost ruin the problem-solving, not here. The clues flow well and the theme is well adhered-to. Staff are very keen too, showing a genuine interest in their clients. Certainly nothing to detract from the experience. Well done to the creators.

We had friends visiting from out of town. Was a great way for all the kids, who hadn’t seen each out for a while, to interact and get to know each other again. Adults had fun too. Connor the host was great and helped us maximise the friendly competition. Great option to have two rooms at the same time for bigger groups. Rooms were excellent.

This is our second escape room with Escape Rooms Canberra, and we loved every second! The hosts were friendly and helpful, managing instructions concisely yet providing enough direction to enjoy without concern for newcomers. The bar after the escape room really added a unique element to the experience and allowed my husband and I a chance to unwind in a quiet, relaxing atmosphere after the rush of the room! We’ll be back to try Curio in no time 🌟

Great escape room experience and good cocktails! We loved the house on the hill room, really well designed and fun and interactive! Staff were really friendly and helpful, we had a great time.
