Pros: First beach after the island main village. Really close to get on foot. Usually less crowded than the main beach (boca da barra) and cueira which has guido's bar that attracts lots of crowds.
Cons: not as beautiful as bainema and ponta dos castelhanos..
This beautiful beach is a half hour walk from the town of Boipeba. Its definitly worth the walk. Check out the small restaurants on this beach, most of them serve fresh fish and good caiperihnas. Only negative thing to mention is the hot sea water...More

I very much enjoyed all beaches in boipeba. This one was especially nice because of the warm water and the lounge feeling. There are some nice spots to have lunch but I found them a bit expensive for being beach huts.
With low tides making wading to "natural swimming pools" a treat , you'll want to snorkel around to see the colorful fish.
Leave your stuff on the beach -it will be safe unless one of the wandering local horses grabs it which is highly unlikely!
