The runic stones are well displayed, very interesting visit, the church is worth to get in. The view on the top of mounds is nice.

Go visit the museum (free of charge) first, the runic stones aren't impressive in their own right, but put into the right historical context the history is quite interesting for foreigners.

A beautiful side trip on our way to Skagen. The church was beautiful and so were the stones and large hills on each side on the church. The grounds were well kept. Glad we decided to detour.

Meet your roots. Take a long walk around the perimeter and then don’t miss the interactive museum exhibit. It’s the best ! Take your time to read interact and listen.
