Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a great day at Recuca Coffee Farm, a really enjoyable tour given by an extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide.
You learn about Coffee farming in the area and around the world, how it is green snd cultivated. You get to pick some yourself from the plants dressed in local garb!
They show you how it's ground and roasted and of course you get to sample the fare!
It's very touristy with dressing up and singing and a crazy little model procession, but it all great fun! It really was a great half day.
The lunch was included in our package and it was really tasty.

This place is a hidden gem: We and our teens had a blast learning about the coffee production process and doing several hands on activities with lots of tasting opportunities, followed by a delicious meal. Our English speaking guide Alejandro was very knowledgeable and made it fun. The tour takes about 3 hours. Make sure to buy some high quality coffee from the farm afterwards!

Super fun experience!
We took the tour which was very informative and fun, with the lovely “paisa” sense of humour. We dressed up, danced, had coffee and hd a very typical, delicious, lunch!
The one part that was not as great was that my partner does not speak Spanish so I struggled trying to translate everything… it would be nice to have a way for foreigners to engage in the experience! But other than that, it was fun! Thanks a lot!

Visited Recuca as part of a gadventure tour and it was quite entertaining! Our guide was Christian, and made it very enjoyable. Tour of some of the property, info on how to pick, roast, etc. Lunch was quite tasty and had a great few hours with this tour!

The best attraction to learn about coffee!!! Family friendly, fun (super fun) and bilingual. The guides are youth people, bilingual, and with great knowledge. You don't have to walk too much, but they even have weelchair for free if need it. You really learn about the Colombian coffee culture, dress up as locals, take fun pictures, and pick up coffee like in a real farm. At the end, they have a coffee taste class, and a delicious (and BIG) local lunch. I recommend to get there early (9 am) to be able to do all activities before lunch. Then, have lunch and you are free for the rest of the day. Plan around four hours for this visit.

If you want to have a fun day, this is the place to go. The views are amazing, you'll learn more about coffee than you ever wanted to know, you'll get to pick coffee and if your guide is Kevin, you will laugh more than you have in a long time.
A really fun day!

Excellent experience, we went and its guide kevin was great. The park explain a the process of coffee harvesting, types of coffee and history. It also shows the culture of el eje cafetero and coffee farms. My kids 5 and 8 enjoy it a lot and my husband and I as well. The farm was very complete and fun. It was supposed. To be 3 hours it ended being almost 5 but it didn’t feel that long, it was very fun. I think its a must when going to the eje

We spent half a day here as part of a G Adventures tour. I suppose it's just like the other coffee finca tours, highly dependent on the guide. We got lucky and "Christian" took us through the coffee growing, picking, shelling, and raosting processes. The tour had some "hands on" components; we actually picked coffee beans the way it is actually done in Colombia. We were told that the steep terrain precludes the use of machines. Christian took us through traditional "coffee country" dances and music, a traditional lunch, and at the end, a cuppa the best stuff. The setting was beautiful, and it was well worth the time.

Not far from ARMENIA (10 minutes by car), this small park is known only by locals:and therefore not overcrowded. It is a gem in the middle of the coffee area. We went there because the Parque del Café was closed for two days and really do not regret it.
Although it has not rides or mini train (not for children, the guide's jokes are adult only), this park is a real coffee plantation and the almost 3 hour-visit is well worth it: You will come out knowing all about growing coffee.
