Stunning place, and great bones. The design is impeccable. Aesthetically, 11/10. Location: ideal!! However, the communication and service is lacking and the hotel may be off to a slow start as things pick up post Covid. Half of the menu wasn’t available, even though they had to have known many rooms were checking in and could have prepared the kitchen better. Wifi didn’t work AT ALL, and that irritated a lot of guests. The staff was friendly, but communication was not great. No one spoke a lot of English, so the English speaking guests that were there had a hard time communicating. However, they’re eager to please and the nicest people. We just needed a bridge of communication. The owners were out, so it was clear there was no one in charge and service was sub par because of it. The food was GREAT, but again, zero communication on what they did have, and they started rationing certain things because of lack of supplies and portions were small because of it. The AC went out several times, and lights flickered a lot because of several villas maybe being filled at the same time. So, the rooms were hot & temperature inconsistent. Check in was difficult, and many guests credit cards wouldn’t work in the machines, so we had to transfer funds on site. They said they accept cash and card, but the card machine doesn’t work properly. They kept telling all of us our cards weren’t working, but that was 100% not the case. It happened to like 4 people. The spa is IDYLLIC, and I loved it. For a honeymoon, I give it a 5/10 and tons of potential — but the wifi, food, and general lack of knowledge and communication was a bummer. I think if they work out some kinks, it will be perfect. The owners have some work to do and it will be absolute paradise. The views are fire and amazing! We will be back if they can adjust some things.

Awesome places. Lots of hiking but the view is fantastic!

The tree house is a let down tho. Costed 75K per person for 5mins. Probably one of the worst money to be spend there. And that is not including the entry fee.
But if you really into it than you gotta pay the price. Its private property thats why they charged it high.

Nicely aesthetic buildings in natural stone and Timbers. Food menu limited and food below average. No wifi in rooms and slow in lobby area. Poor lighting in restaurant and stairs leading to rooms, in fact none. Poor English spoken by staff in reception. Air conditioning on and for with lights and power constantly. Rooms lack hanging space and clothes storage. Beautiful location with access to beaches and views. Much work to be done to up the service. Much potential. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone wanting good food or wifi.

This hotel is amazing!! It is right next to Atuh Beach and Diamond Beach and is the perfect place to stay while exploring Nusa Penida. It’s literally like a 5 star hotel so it was a surprise that it wasn’t on trip advisor. The rooms are so beautiful with limestone walls with a minimalistic modern bohemian twist. They are stunning! The environment is so beautiful as well. Trees around and a beautiful breeze blowing so it never feels too hot. There is room service or dine in the restaurant. The food is the best food I have had in Nusa Lembongan/Nusa Penida. Fabulous menu of local and international dishes. Best Nasi Goreng and seafood linguini I have ever had. There is also a spa where you can have massages and other treatments. All the staff were attentive and polite and room service was extremely efficient. Breakfast we had in our room (it was complimentary) and they even had a decent coffee served ! I had a flat white!
I would only recommend staying here if you have access to a scooter or access to a car/driver as the location is quite remote. You can walk to diamond beach and Atuh beach but need to drive/scooter to explore other places. Internet and google maps is great here by the way. Once you are here though at the hotel, all food, drinks and amenities are provided.

We stayed for three nights. The staff (Ayu and Agnus) were amazing and always so friendly. Food was also amazing and we didn't have one bad meal (loved the tuna steak as well as the smoothie bow)! Room was quaint with their boho style but was a little on the warm side. Bathrooms were very spacious. The spa across the street was one of the highlights as it was the BEST massage my co worker and I have ever had (Sue and Tita). Their Balinese signature massage was slow and intentional and was pure heaven. The hotel is about an hour from the ferry but we didn't mind the drive. The location was epic as it's above Diamond beach and you can hike down to Atuah tree house as well. We also loved the dogs on the property and already miss Manu, Lola and Lulu. That made our stay feel like home having them around. Overall, we would definitely come back!!

Raja Lima is considered Bali’s version of the famous Raja Ampat in Papua. It has very nice views bit require some kind of walking and climbing to go up. It’s worth of your time to visit while in Nusa Penida. At the same location you can also visit the nice Tree House (require extra admission fee).

Amazing! This is the best area of Penida and the resort is amazing! Having a cocktail at the pool bar overlooking the best view over the top of the iconic diamond beach was the highlight of our holiday! The staff were super friendly. Big shout out to the resort manager Pak T (Mr T) he’s a legend and does a great job.

More shadows than lights: against a beautiful location, beautiful architecture and a discreet kitchen, too many negative things. First of all the lack of cleanliness in general (sheets with organic stains, pillows and very dirty outdoor beds....), then the wi fi in the rooms works very badly, the lights in the room that do not allow you to read and especially the value for money absolutely disproportionate. If you consider that to get there you take a long and dangerous road, narrow and all potholes and that going to the beach you have to walk 25 minutes and also pay a ticket, the Recommendation is definitely to avoid going there
