About
A warm welcome awaits you at our tavern-style cellar-door, only 5 mins east of Daylesford (1.5hrs from Melbourne & Geelong, 1hr from Bendigo). Here we make a range of traditional style ciders using the heritage cider apples grown organically on the farm, alongside other locally sourced apples. Sample them all with a cider tasting paddle ($15, 7 glasses of different ciders) and pick which ones you want to take home with you. Lunch is served Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday, offering a modest menu which changes throughout the year. Expect wood fired pizza, platters & light lunches during the warmer months, and heartier warming dishes during winter. Bookings for lunch are strongly recommended on weekends and public holidays, especially for groups. We also host private functions, live music, tours, picnics in the orchard, bridal showers, probus lunches, post-wedding recoveries & wedding ceremonies. Just get in touch to find out how we can help you with your next celebration, cheers!

Fantastic spot. Great service, food and beverages including, of course, cider. Try the tasting paddle to enjoy a variety of ciders. But there's also great beer and wine. Four of us shared the tasting plate and then three wood fired pizzas. All fantastic and great value. Highly recommended. Of, also dog friendly. What more can you ask for.

The friendly and quick service. The menu covered the diverse “likes” of our group. In addition several of our party were fructose intolerant requiring the food served to be free of onion and garlic. This posed no problem to the kitchen.
We look forward to coming again.

Brilliant place to visit. Such a great atmosphere for a relaxing tasting opportunity and lunch. The ciders are incredible, the tasting paddle is well worth it. They also serve a big range of cider by the glass. The pizzas are delicious and have a lovely light base, side salads were really nice, the staff were amazing and very helpful. and it was a great idea to order from the table and have access to their wifi to make ordering easy and Covid-safe. You also had the opportunity to order with the staff if you didn’t want to order via their online platform. Lovely grounds with chairs to sit around trees on the grass under the shade or a range of picnic tables and lawn games.

The Cidery is absolutely gorgeous as a venue. We went on a scorching hot day (40 degrees!) and were all seated under a lovely outdoor area with ample shade, able to catch the breeze.
The poor staff had lost power due to the heat, but were some of the best service I've had regardless! Incredibly friendly, attentive and professional in the worst of circumstances.
And that's not even talking about the food and cider! The cider was absolutely delicious, and the sparkling apple was a wonderful non-alcoholic option. My woodfired pizza hit the spot perfectly, but the garlic and herb flatbread definitely got scoffed very quickly.
10/10 would absolutely recommend! The staff are legends and the experience was super lovely.

Not bad. They do do ciders well here and a tasting paddle is the way to get it done (good value by the way). Food is smart with pizzas, grazing boards, dips, salads and desserts. This place has indoor and outdoor areas, so in a nice day it is lovely to sit outdoors. During these covid times there is a marquee over the outdoor area but there is also plenty of room outside of the marquee. It’s a few minutes outside of Daylesford town centre but worth the trip. It’s nice for 2 people but would be especially great for a small table of friends in the sun.

My husband and I booked online for lunch which was quick and easy.
When we arrived we were greeted warmly and shown to our table.
The service was relaxed and friendly.
We ordered the tasting paddle which we would recommend. From this we were able to order cider to suit our taste buds.
We ordered 2 wood fire pizzas which was more than enough for the both of us (we demolished them and then felt sorry for ourselves)
The ham pizza with Brie cheese was exceptional.
We weren’t rushed at all and the brewery had a fantastic vibe with friendly staff.
Would highly recommend anyone going to Daylesford to book a table.

We arrived after the lunch rush and were told that inside was at capacity and we could take a table outside until one became available. It was 7 degrees and I asked if they had a heater. No, as it is. There was no music playing and the marquee was freezing, despite the fact that I could see a gas jet heater in the corner.
The cider wasn’t chilled (it should have been stored outside and it would have been colder). The waitresses were disinterested and there was no vibe inside either.
A beautiful setting with so much potential. Very disappointing indeed.

Enjoyed a beautiful lunch and tasting paddle in the comfort of the courtyard. Lovely staff member talked us through the paddle, and ensured we had everything we needed. Much fun to be had with the resident dogs as well. Thoroughly enjoyable
