We hadn't visited this Cidery since they started offering food, but thought it was the perfect place to catch up with friends. It was a very cold Sunday, and we were all glad of the open fire. Everyone enjoyed their cider tastings and we had garlic bread, olives and pizzas for lunch. The service was very friendly and warm and the food was OK without being memorable. There were plenty of choices of pizzas and salads as well. You can sit inside or out, depending on the weather!

Not bad. They do do ciders well here and a tasting paddle is the way to get it done (good value by the way). Food is smart with pizzas, grazing boards, dips, salads and desserts. This place has indoor and outdoor areas, so in a nice day it is lovely to sit outdoors. During these covid times there is a marquee over the outdoor area but there is also plenty of room outside of the marquee. It’s a few minutes outside of Daylesford town centre but worth the trip. It’s nice for 2 people but would be especially great for a small table of friends in the sun.

Amazing customer service even with plenty of tables full. We dined here on Tuesday and dropped by on Wednesday to bring some cider home with us. On Tuesday, the staff member was incredibly organised, friendly and thoughtful. He took time to seat each customer and explain how to order and access the cider descriptions whilst simultaneously managing the kitchen and front of the store, he was a superstar. I am gluten-free and he made sure to ask whether certain items were suitable as they were at higher risk of cross contamination. Often in other establishments, sharing dietary requirements is a point of stress, but the staff here are very reassuring and willing to work through any concerns. The staff member we talked to on Wednesday was also extremely friendly, all in all this appears to be a wonderful place to visit in Daylesford and was one of the highlights of our trip. Our favourite ciders were the session, coppin and pear/ginger.

We arrived after the lunch rush and were told that inside was at capacity and we could take a table outside until one became available. It was 7 degrees and I asked if they had a heater. No, as it is. There was no music playing and the marquee was freezing, despite the fact that I could see a gas jet heater in the corner.
The cider wasn’t chilled (it should have been stored outside and it would have been colder). The waitresses were disinterested and there was no vibe inside either.
A beautiful setting with so much potential. Very disappointing indeed.

We went to Daylesford on New Years Day to have a walk around the lake and , on the way back, saw the sign to the Daylesford Cider Co. and decided to drop in for a drink and some afternoon tea. We were lucky enough to get a table - the staff were very accommodatiind - and had a tasting paddle and a lovely pizza. Picked our favourite ciders and then purchased a six pack of those. Really enjoyable afternoon.

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us on here. So pleased you loved some of the ciders and got a pack to take home. You'll be pleased to hear that since your visit, we have launched 2 new ciders and 1 beer, so it may be worth a revisit later in the year ;)
Till then, cheers!

We visited the Daylesford Cider Company for lunch on the weekend. It was our first time there and quite a find, just 10 minutes from Daylesford. From the moment that you arrive, you could tell that this place looked special. The gardens are beautifully manicured and the outdoor table area is simply divine. We were very warmly welcomed and shown to our table. We even had the option of ordering our drinks while we were waiting in the queue to enter - how good is that! The woodfire pizza was delicious and the cider paddles were very tasty. I highly recommend the watermelon fizz cider and Aperol Spritz. Also, they cater for all dietary requirements including gluten free which is great. Our daughter, who is a coeliac, said it was one of the best pizza's she has had and that's saying something! I'd love to come back when it is less busy and just chill out outside one afternoon on a nice warm day with a drink and cheese platter.

Hello and thank you for your gorgeous summary of your time with us.
We do take dietary requirements very seriously, and also agree that the GF bases we use are some of the best.
We are so pleased you have found our small business, tucked away in the countryside, and we look forward to welcoming you back one day soon.

Fantastic spot. Great service, food and beverages including, of course, cider. Try the tasting paddle to enjoy a variety of ciders. But there's also great beer and wine. Four of us shared the tasting plate and then three wood fired pizzas. All fantastic and great value. Highly recommended. Of, also dog friendly. What more can you ask for.

We had a lovely lunch along with a tasting of ciders.
The grazing platter was a generous size with plenty of variety.
Staff are all helpful and friendly so much so that we shopped and brought home a few ciders to remember our day out.
Well worth a visit

Visited here with 2 adults and 4 hungry teenagers and everyone left satisfied.
From the moment we arrived the service was exceptional, explaining their Covid-safe policies and how the lunch would run.
The food platter was a great size as a starter for the 6 of us. Everyone LOVED the cheese especially.
Having the paddle tasting boards was a great way to try out the various ciders. We recommend the Watermelon fizz, Sweet Coppin & Wild Oaked.
The wood fired pizzas were amazing. The staff took note of our allergies and requests and made sure they were followed.
Overall a really enjoyable experience.
We will definitely be back and bring along some friends.

Hi Kylee,
That is super to read, we love hearing that families & groups love dining on the Feed Me package. Ensuring everyone is well fed is always a priority!
We look forward to welcoming you back with friends in due course. In mid April we transition back to our a la carte menu of hearty homemade dishes to suit the change in season. We will also have a couple new ciders and our new beer available - so lots to look forward to!

My husband and I booked online for lunch which was quick and easy.
When we arrived we were greeted warmly and shown to our table.
The service was relaxed and friendly.
We ordered the tasting paddle which we would recommend. From this we were able to order cider to suit our taste buds.
We ordered 2 wood fire pizzas which was more than enough for the both of us (we demolished them and then felt sorry for ourselves)
The ham pizza with Brie cheese was exceptional.
We weren’t rushed at all and the brewery had a fantastic vibe with friendly staff.
Would highly recommend anyone going to Daylesford to book a table.
