This place is heaven when visited early in the morning. It is advisable to keep your eyes open and your not your mouth that you can spot a lot of birds. If you make noise then birds will fly away. So make silence and make fun by watching different water bird. This place is also ideal for photographer. Must visit.

This place is usually flocked with loads of birds and you can find a lot of variety. However the best time to visit is early in the morning since as the day progresses people start creating noise and hence you may not be able to spot many of them. Also, during winter, you can see migratory birds which makes for... More

Mornings & evenings are the best time to visit. You can see seasonal birds. Recently we saw the flamingos. Good walking track & also can go towards the grasslands if no water is there as water pockets are scattered. This makes awesome for the photographers. Don't miss the sunset. Car ticket is 500 RS. Per car & entry per person... More

As already you know its a lake, you cant expect a lot from it. Most imp is its vicinity from Ahmedabad. A great place for bird watchers during the migration time.

We visited during winters to see migratory birds. Other than lake too, it has a nice landscape. If you are a nature lover, you may find some of the picnic loving folks annoying. But let that not stop you from visiting this awesome place few minutes away from hustle-n-bustle of Ahmedabad. There's a parking space and food facility available albeit... More
