    Worth a look 👍
While looking around Phillip Island, dropped into the visitors centre at the Gran Prix Circuit to have a look. For $12.50 each for entry into the museum it was good value. Was interesting to read about the history of the Circuit. Didn’t realise it was so steeped in history, as I thought it was a relatively new thing.

Due to the time of year there was not the opportunity to go for a ride in a race car, but there were gokarts available. It is a wonderful venue and we were very pleased to actually see the venue. Inexpensive gift shop too.

    Great for karting.
Family got 4 karts, inc 2 tandems so kids could be involved. Mini version of GP circuit overlooking the bay. Well priced for what you pay and can compare to daily, weekly and all time times which was good. Good little store too. Very worth it.

3rd Time is the Charm at PI Classic
Got into PI Thursday evening for 3 full days of motor action. Grab a quick bite for breakfast and out to the track. Really friendly officials & volunteers as usual. Plus, improved food vendors & availability this year. The 50th anniversary for the L34 Torana's was a plus with a huge field on display with lots of other interesting vehicles & exhibits to enjoy. The 37C heat and wind on Sat & Sun was a challenge but more so for the competitors & pit crews & marshals! The best part is you can park anywhere around the track and enjoy the racing. Had over 50 enjoyable races and was good to see Aldo Di Paoli in his 69 Camaro get the better of Paul Stubber on several races. There is something for everyone to enjoy and we will be back.

Grand Prix experience for almost any age
Make a call before you go to avoid disappointment or to clear uncertainties. Once you are there, you are in a world of fun, laughter and adventure. The only thing is the cafe didn’t have caramel syrup for my coffee. Other than that, friendly staff, clean, spacious & are on top of safety!

As a venue for MotoGP and World Super Bikes this circuit is a must see for motorcycle racing fans. The museum details the history of the circuit from the first car races to the modern day with the various participants / businesses involved in its development. The museum also has a good collection of racing motorcycles from previous years and details their associated riders. The experience is only let down by the limited view of the circuit itself.

The museum was ok. When being charged an entry fee, at least there could be some effort to have access to a guest or visitors platform to see the tracks. All I could see was through a big fence some track lines. The same view back from the main road. A bit disappointing. I guess to watch the grandprix live must be fascinating.

Booked in for a solo session on the Go Carts, booked online for 10.15 then on arrival was told only families were accepted at that timeslot. Had to wait until 10.45. Customer service was very poor, staff would not listen, nor accept the printout confirming the booking. The session had more adults than children. I had even emailed requesting a latter time so they were aware it was a single. The attitude of staff was disappointing. Would recommend some staff training and website improvements.

The visitor centre looks great. The cafe is absolutely terrible . I don’t think anyone has considered learning how to make coffee correctly and very bland food. Bring a picnic if visiting

I thought it would be hard to top last years Classic, but I was wrong! What was scheduled to be 52 races over 3 days lost a couple after some heavy crashes delayed the events. But luckily no injuries but some sad looking cars! The historic categories cover all eras of Motorsport and fans get to see cars you have never experienced before on a daily basis. The highlights for me are the Group Nc Production Touring cars, Group A & C Tourers and even the Regularity class! Another plus was the 6 Formula 1 race cars which showed their speed & noise down Gardner Straight!! The car displays, ability to get up close in the pits & the whole set up is a great day(s) enjoying real motorsport. The actual highlight for me was bumping into Aldo De Paoli & his awesome 69 Chev Camaro as he and his mechanics worked on it between races. Aldo took time out to discuss & explain things to some happy petrol heads and we were already fans after his display in last years Classic! Ignore the Committee Aldo & keep that tail waging, the fans love it!!! Also Ian Tate OAM & his dedicated team deserve a big thank you! Can't wait till 2024!
