This was an incredible day. We booked with treehuggers and they were fantastic and very helpful. The tour was so much fun and definitely worth doing.

We were with a group of 12 girls and had a perfect day, floating through the canyon and jumping off the rocks! But even more importantly; Henry and the tour guides took so such good care of us! We stayed in Quinta San Raphael which...More

We just had a fantastic day with Somoto Canyon Tours. Olvin and Rigo took our group of 8. Our daughter is an ex-diver so loves to jump, the higher the better! My husband and I are closer to 60 and between Olvin and Rigo they...More

Thank you so much for your review. It shows how the canyon is perfect for those visitors wanting to appreciate nature and those who want to be more adventurous. One doesn't have to jump at all if one does not wish to do so. Floating...More

I did not know what to expect, but once you get to the place, make sure you go all the way in to the park entrance. Do not get sucked in by the people that come to you right of the main road. Once you...More

Thank you for your review. It raises some interesting points about sustainable rural community tourism which we have been practising since 2008. You are right to mention the problem of the people soliciting tours on the highway at the entrance to the national monument. We...More

Beautiful place, and the tour was definitely fun. I'm just going to leave some idea of what to expect: - group size will be quite large but the guides look after you well regardless. - the water is moderately cold, so eat a decent breakfast...More

We really enjoyed the tour of the canyon. It was well organized and we certainly werent rushed through the canyon so it was much more relaxing than arduous. Having lunch included at the end was wonderful as we worked up quite an appetite by the...More

Thank you, Ricardo, for your review. It is fantastic to receive the accolade you have given us in the title of your review. We have worked hard for over a decade to establish a very professional organisation offering a high quality experience.

Taking the large tour (5-6 hours tour) for 30 dollars/person with Treehuggers, we Highly recommend this tour. There is also the standard tour (4 hours) with or without jump for 25 dollars. Looking at other comments now, I realized passing with Treehuggers increases the prices...More

Thank you for your review. A couple of points need clarification. Our tour whether booked through our agency Treehuggers or direct via our website is the same price. There is no variance and none of the other operators offers the complete package that we do,...More

Best day of my trip to Central America - a must do! Perfect tour guide, beautiful scenery and lovely hot food ready when you return. Would recommend the 6 hour tour, time flies in the canyon.
