Really fun, but next time will save up for the express tickets. We went on a drizzly, cloudy day and it was still packed. I wouldn’t go with normal tickets again, the queues ended up getting crazy and it wouldn’t be worth the time waiting. Luckily we got there early and got to do lots of rides before the crowd really kicked in. The rides were great though. Super fun. Worth going.

Hi, thanks for your feedback. Express tickets are a great way to experience all our slides, however we also suggest planning a visit in the afternoon or evening when the queues are shorter. Check out our operating calendar as we are opening Friday afternoons in February from 3pm to 8pm. Look forward to seeing you at the park again soon. Stay raging!

Took my 10 year old son and 2 of his friends for a day they were very much looking forward to. Paid over $240 for us to get in and park - we got there at 10am, opening time and the lines were already huge. Took 30 minutes just to get in. And then the wait time for the slides. Up to one hour - we were there for 7 hours and the boys had 5 slides lasting less than 30 seconds each. Once they waited an hour to get to the top and were told only 2 or 4 people could go - so one boy had to walk back down and miss out (kids said the signs said 2-4 which they thought meant 3 was OK). Whilst waiting for literally hours at the bottom of the slides for the kids I saw quite a few serious accidents - with 3 people being wheeled away in wheelchairs. Similar to other reviews, the one slide I did go on I noticed only 2 people for 5 slides at the top which is possibly why the wait times are so long? I won't be returning as there are far too many people, not enough shade for the slide queues (you aren't allowed to take hats in the queue) and the value for money just isn't there. I suspect they have oversold season passes in the hope people don't use them - but when I booked our tickets online I wasn't asked the day we were coming which suggests the entry quotas are endless or super high.

Hi Anna Thank you for sharing your feedback. We do have a number of ticketing option that can save you money, purchasing online creates great savings or season passes are amazing value paying for themselves in less than 2 visits. On hot summer days especially during the holidays, families coming to the park to spend the day together cooling off. Some hints to avoid the queues is to time your visit in the afternoon/evening, the queues are shorter and the park itself has a great vibe. Our Call Centre team are available to answer all your questions about ticketing and more call us 88571000 or email us. We would like to assist you more with the issues you have raised in your review. Please contact us via email at support@ragingwaterssydney.com.au we would be happy to look into the issues with more details.

Be prepared to make multiple transactions for your booking…

For our group of 13, I had to pay in 3 separate transactions to book all tix and a cabana.

And please don’t call for assistance as you won’t get any 🙄 they are not able to assist with bookings ever.

If you are time poor, don’t bother booking just go to Jamberoo 🛝

Hi, Thanks for visiting the park and I am sorry to hear of your disappointment when purchasing your tickets to our park. Some of our tickets allow the guest to be flexible with their visit dates, but cabanas need to be booked for a specific date. Thank you for your feedback we will look at ways with our ticketing company to overcome issues like this. If you require any assistance when booking any future tickets, please contact us via email support@ragingwaterssydney.com.au or call us on 88571000.

Went to raging waters on 21/12/23. Their website says they close at 8pm. Arrived at 5.15pm only to find out they want to close early at 6pm. Not happy to waste my time, fuel and toll.

We are very sorry to hear you did not see the information on the website about the park closing early. This information was put on the website before we opened this day. If the weather is not looking the best it is always a good idea to give us a call to check the opening hours. 88571000

Parking is very expensive, service is questionable to non existent and the green bands for cashless purchases in the park are “subject to refund at the end of season”.

It started with security (at the gates) messing up our bags probably looking for alcohol from bags (officially looking for weapons I guess).

Not a smile (not a sign of brain either), exposed my wife tampons and stuffed the bags once done.
The man even crushed our food.
Not a good start (I had that sort of behavior in Paris Disneyland: lack of middle management, can’t blame the guard for being what he is).

We went to the service booth to get cashless bands (like in many other park in the world), got told we would be ”of course” refunded when we leave the park.

They just forgot to say:
- we were told we would be refunded at the end of the season,
- we complained: “you need to ask the manager”
- the manager asked the manager on duty
- the manager on duty asked us to write an email and send some reference numbers
- and now, we received a form to fill up.

Who knows what’s next?

The cabana was expensive and useless (just a tiny booth with 4 chairs).

The park itself is starting to show fatigue (shades need high pressure clean).

Frankly, we spent a bit more than $700 (5 tickets + food + Cabana + shopping), next time, I’ll get 5 tickets for the Gold Coast…

About 25% of the rides were closed.

And… a lot of rough disrespectful kids/teens there, really a lot (or maybe I’m too posh).

Whoever read this… make up your mind accordingly.

You can see it’s starting to date, I remember coming when it first opened. Under the Wet and Wild name (roadshow ownership) the slides are still great but you can see the sun has started the plastic slide fade.
The park itself is spotless and clean so can’t fault there, the staff are friendly and helpful.
Fortunately it was not at full capacity so 15min wait time for all sides was awesome.
I know a water park if hard to operate as it’s seasonal but hopefully the next time I visit they have some new additions to the slides.
Only let down was that you pay a hefty price to enter and before you even get into the park you have to pay for onsite parking.
So for the 3 of us $179.97 for the tickets plus $12 for parking and $26.00 for drinks which equals
$217.97 god forbid we bought food there and I’m sure it would have cost me over $300 for the day less the road tolls. If you include the road tolls you getting closer to $400.
So hopefully the next time I venture to this place (if I do) Parking will be free!!?

Overall enjoy

We have added new things since taking over from the previous owners, and the future is looking great. We do have a number of ways to make your visit cost effective, our season passes have lots of perks and some have free parking and free bring a friend options and discounts on food and drinks. Passes have special deals during the season that are available only to the pass holders. Non commercially prepared food is welcome to be brought into the park, check the food policy online. We also have a guest services team that are available on phones, emails and in the park to help you make the most of your visit. We hope we can welcome you back soon.

Raging Waters is not a place I'd recommend for families.

During the whole day we were there, we only managed to get on 2 slides due to the very long delays and people continually queue jumping.

There wasn't enough staff to manage the slides, with queues more than an hour long. This was compounded by people continually jumping the queue i.e., using the Raging Xpress line without the pass. Staff were not checking for the pass so people were incentivised to jump the queue.

The place needs a management overhaul.

We are sorry this was your experience when you visited the park. Families are taking advantage of the great weather to visit the park. Avoid the queue tips - Visit in the afternoon/evenings as the weather is still warm and the park vibe is awesome. Come on a day when the weather is a little overcast, this is the kind of day that the park is less crowded. We hope you can come back and revisit the park with these tips in mind.

The staff were superb, we had thunderstorms that suspended the attractions for a few hours and staff were very helpful in updating us at every step. The rides were super thrilling for myself and the kids, we would certainly visit again.

Had an absolute blast when visited. Loved every bit of it and the staff were all so friendly and professional, can’t wait to come back here again. Clear location and directions. There are many signs to show you where to go including a map you're given to see your way around which is very well labelled. Lots of attractions and slides throughout the park for all ages. Call Centre and Guest Services staff are always helpful and do everything they can to ensure a great experience for everyone.

- Spent over an hour waiting for T5 with kids only to be turned away at the top! Absolutely pathetic, no communication till we were told to go back down, no reason given either. To top thing off by the time we walked down and grabbed a drink the slide had reopened! another 1hr standing wait with kids for a few second ride? I don't think so!

- Slide operators standing around talking instead of ushering people on and off rides to get the ridiculous queues moving. 35min wait with young kids for a 15 second experience is a rip off!

- 360RUSH running at half capacity as one slide was broken!

- Slide operators turning blind eye to people skipping the line.

- Food service very slow, again 5/6 staff standing around talking whilst one is taking orders at ONE of the FOUR registers available!

- Response from park was nothing but a standard template making excuses for park being busy at times hence the delays, rubbish! the delays are caused by poor management, incompetent/lazy staff, and poor ride maintenance.

- Waste of money! Family day pack $219 then a secret $10 processing fee, then $12 parking fee, then $15 locker fee, then $80 for a basic frozen-patty burger lunch!

- Spend 8hrs standing around (for the kids of course!) for a measly 5 rides and lunch!?!? that's over $11 per 15sec slide! if you go by yourself it's $16 per slide!!! shameful!!!

- Do not recommend at all and NEVER going back!
