Was a lively stop. Good signs explaining what the thrombolites are. Interesting to look at. Nice boardwalk. There are toilets there.

We didn't stop to see the Stromatolites at Hamelin Pool on our way down the coast from Exmouth, due to the tides and time, so we were delighted to find this little treasure tucked away. It wasn't crowded so we were able to take our...More

I have written a review of these thrombolites on the Lake Clifton page but would like to add that the signs are not obvious to get there so use google maps instead. Good place to visit and educational for the kids.

Loved the views of the thrombolites, never seen anything like them before. We were warned of theft, so went with empty car and didn't stay long either.

This is a great place to learn something about these ancient 'creatures' or how we should call it. It is easy accessible and it is just a short detour when you are heading south from Perth. Really a must visit!

This is a well laid out attraction. The walk out to the boardwalk was easy and the view well worth the short walk.
