Being from the Pacific Northwest this was very similar to a Columbia River Gorge waterfall - but the water was warm enough to swim in! Also, the cave at the top has another waterfall and we waded to the back of the cave to explore....More

The waterfalls are part of the fixed bus tours that take you to Palenque. Both waterfalls can be skipped and instead one can spend a bit more time at the ruins. The waterfalls only provide a good break in the journey and place to refresh...More

VERY INTERESTING and very uncrowded. the falls are spactacular where you can actually walk on a path BEHIND the falling water. a long walk down to get there but worth it. water very refreshing

You should visit these falls in combination with a visit to the Agua Azul waterfalls or perhaps the Robert Barrios falls. A sole visit here would perhaps be underwhelming. With the being said, the water is fairly spectacular as it falls from such a height...More

The waterfall is nice and ok to visit if you are in the area anyway but I would definitely not plan a trip just to visit this place. It is ok but really nothing special and very crowded.

If u are planning to do a tour to agua azul they usually take u to this place before. It's an high natural waterfall in the middle of the nature.
