A really nice park that sort of surrounds the Parque de la Venta. Great to stroll along the lagoon and watch for birds and other wild life. Lots of people out enjoying it in the evening, with little carts selling food.

We were simply walking around the town, between the Cathedral and the town center and we happened upon the park. There are some vendors around, and it was around noon - so we spent an hour in the shade watching people, birds and the water........and...More

While the park is peaceful and nicely laid out, there is a lot of plastic in the lake and many of the surrounding buildings appear empty and in disrepair. Why not pay somebody to go around and remove the plastic? Would be easy to do.

This is a nice park to stroll around. You are able to walk next to the lagoon and most likely you to see vendors from food to curiosities. It is a leisure, easy walk. I would recommend while on Villahermosa.

Free entry, with the Parque Museo La Venta set inside, next to the laguna. There you can see a collection of Olmec artifacts. Meanwhile, in PTGC, there are places to eat, drink and enjoy the day.
