When visiting Australia with children a visit to a location that has koalas and kangaroos is a necessity - Caversham met that requirement. The kangaroos were overfed and sleepy, but the kids had the experience of feeding them. Pictures were taken with the koalas, and with the wombat (which was held by an attendant and appeared to be drugged). You... More

I didn't know much about Caversham when I decided to go. I was expecting a conservation area, but it is in fact a zoo. The animals are kept in small enclosures. The highlight was getting to go up close to the Kangaroos and Koala. Though I'm still not 100% comfortable with the idea that their kept in cages. If you... More

We had a very enjoyable day here. We wanted to see the koalas. You don't get to hold them, but you stand next to them while they are in a tree munching leaves. I think this is better as they are not getting passed around. They seemed very content.

I really enjoy the fact that you are free to wander around and see the great enclosures up close to the animals. I also appreciate the fact that the shows are well done, interesting and we are able to touch certain animals at certain times throughout the day, even the koalas. I really enjoyed the Wombat and friends exhibit because... More

It has been a few years since we have been to Caversham wildlife park and it is a really good day out. There is a lot of interaction with the animals and you can take as many photo's as you want with the Koala's, wombat's and kangaroo's for free, which makes a change. There are special times for the wombat's... More

Me and my partner visited here, as I had previously visited here briefly as part of an organised tour. The park is well kept, the animals look well. Our favourite part of the trip was feeding the kangaroos. We'd like to say a special thanks to Liz who showed us to a quieter section of the kangaroo enclosure (which is... More

Love the place, been here a few times over the last 10 yrs. Entry price for adult was $28. Finally I believed they have got the Koala and Wombat meet and greet area spot on. The weather was hot so the animals were mostly resting. We decided to line up for the koala meet and greet, yep the queue was... More

This was our first visit to a Wildlife Park in Australia. It's a cute little park, where you can get up close and personal with kangaroos :-) We went to the farm show which was fun, entertaining and educational. The park has a free shuttle bus to the entrance of the Whiteman Park, where you can catch a bus towards... More

This is a great place to see a vast array of Australian wildlife. Cost (at time of writing) is $28 per adult and is very good value. Very easy to find your way around the park, which is broken into different areas with the central area used for the Kangaroos. Check the times for visiting the Koalas and Wombats, which... More

When you goes to Australia, koala bear and kangaroo is a must see. Though the park is not so big, but they have activities to keep you entertain for at least half day. There are all the animals that only can be found in Australia that are being showcased as well as farm show. For interaction wise, visitors can access... More
