We did a day trip to Cape Leveque, One Arm Point and then a seaplane to the Horizontal Falls. One of our most favourite travel experiences. It was a huge day and so varied and well worth the money.

Decided to revisit here 27 years after our first visit. 3 week delay as roads were closed due to rain and had to wait for another opening. Staff very helpful. Booked a log cabin for a few nights and took our own food and drink......More

Hi, thanks for coming back! :) Erica

The colours are stunning, red rocks and white sands. Warm sea water just topped it off. We were part of the day trip to the horizontal falls.

We spent 4 days at Cape Leveque exploring an amazing part of Australia. The colours of the landscapes are spectacular, we cannot wait to return!

What a beautiful part of WA! Easy drive from Broome for 4WD. Very dry "wet season" which impacts wildlife and vegetation. Stunning cliff faces and crystal clear water. It was low tide so we did the walk along the beach....stunning! Really worth the drive out.More

Glad you enjoyed your day. Hope you can come back after a proper wet season - as it is a beautiful time of year normally, with lots of green and golden seed heads on the 2 metre tall spear grass all the way up the...More

Stunning location on the beach. Worth the drive. Beach shelters are great but camping area can be hot during the wet (does not get the wind).More

Hi, yes we always recommend people go down to the shelters during the heat if they can. Otherwise the clifftop on the western side for a breeze in the evening is the best spot. Failing that - go for the aircon units! See you next...More

We travelled from Broome by road to visit the "amazing" Cape Leveque. When we arrived there was no help on the desk at the resort. Apparent to us was if you want to experience the beaches or see the Cape in any way, shape or...More

Hi, I'm so sorry you were disappointed with your trip to Kooljaman - located at Cape Leveque. We are a private property - so yes day trippers are required to purchase access to the property. The fee is $5.00 for a walking pass, and a...More

Our day trip included a 4wd tour to Cape Leveque which was rugged and stunning with stops on the way to remote villages only accessible by 4WD. Amazing countryside and wildlife on the road trip and then superb Scenery once you see the coast and...More

Stayed here for a night during the wet season, was full of hope to go swimming and snorkeling here since the beaches in Broome were flooded with stingers. But luck was not on our side, we were told that 2 salt water crocodiles were spotted...More

Hi, sorry you didn't get to go in the water. It had been quite windy and our new friends seemed to have blown in - inconveniently - to the swim beach. Thanks for being so understanding - hope you can come back on a croc...More

The road up here alternates between dusty, sandy and red and bitumen, but you are always travelling through the outback bush. Once here at the cape you are at quite a special location. At the cape itself the western beach is often used in promotional...More
