Went to the fish market early and they told us to come back after 12pm when the locals come back in. We came back at 12pm and there was a ton of fresh lobster. Easy to communicate and they gave us great attention. We came expecting to not expect and left with 9lbs of lobster and pleasantly surprised and happy... More

After reading reviews on how the market employees were unfriendly, I was prepared for hostile locals. That was not the case at all. The man who cleaned the fish was a little short, but not unprofessional. In the middle of my transaction (I bought grouper and lobster) a fresh batch of yellowtail was delivered and the staff stopped for 5... More

I love Fish Market. The young lady that owns it is very nice and the gentleman that cleans the fish is also very nice! Now, please take my advice: 1. Did forget to tip! These people work hard! 2. If you don't get there by 11am you probably won't get lobster or fish 3. BE PATIENT, your in Vieques! What's... More

We stayed a week on Vieques and tried each day, at different times to get fresh fish. The market was never open. The closed we will be back sign was always up.

Went to the fish market around 10:30 and picked out two lobsters that weighed 6 pounds that we cooked back at our house two nights. A special treat that we don't get to do back home in the Midwest! The cost is $8 per pound, cheaper than steak back home! Delicious!

Friendly service - Fresh Fish ! ( Red Snapper, Grouper, Dorado (Mahi-Mahi), Trigger Fish, Yellow Tail, Kingfish, Langosta and Conch ) 3 lb Red Snapper Guelymar weighs your choice, Tomas expertly filets and surprised us when he tossed the carcass to mad rush of Tarpon taking care of the remains. Great quality and value. B&B

We found the market tucked down the dead end street near the ferry dock in Isabel. Went in and at the time, they only had fresh lobster. We grabbed a few but then were told that the next boat would be in in about an hour and there would be fresh fish. So we went back and they had red... More

We got there late in the day. We were able to buy two large lobsters and a large red snapper. They cleaned and de-scaled the fish and packed the lobster for us. We cooked the lobster the first night and the snapper two nights later. The price was $82 for all. The men at the market were very friendly and... More

Not terribly friendly, but lobster was $8/pound (live) and fresh grouper was $5/pound. It took a while to get the guy's attention, he was talking to a friend, but once he told us the prices, it only took another bit to get him to sell us something. But, it is fresh and the only place in town.

Thank Mark P
