TAHBILK CELLAR DOOR & WINE TASTING: The Cellar Door tasting is a MUST if visiting the winery. Held in the original winery you will be well looked after by our lovely staff as you try a range of different Tahbilk wines on offer. An amazing experience which takes you back in time, unchanged since 1860. UNDERGROUND CELLARS: In Cellar Door, follow the stairs down into the original underground cellars built in 1862. Take a moment to breath in the sights and smells of the red wine cellar before moving to what we call the new cellar which was built by James Escott Purbrick (third cousin to Reginald Purbrick) in 1875 in only 6 weeks. ECO TRAILS: The complex web of billabongs became 8kms of backwaters and creeks. These deep wetlands are the site now of the Tahbilk Eco Trails. Start your walk by heading across the historic Long Bridge. The Long Bridge was built from timber hewn on the Estate to replace a ford on the site soon after the Goulburn Weir was completed in 1889. Following the floods of 1954, the bridge was extensively repaired, reducing from double to single lane. In 1996 it was completely rebuilt, again with timber cut and milled on the property. Visitors can stroll along a range of walking paths and boardwalks along a 4km circuit. ECO CRUISE: Gently glide along the Tahbilk billabongs and enjoy a 30 minute cruise in the undercover comfort of our eco friendly electric powered boats.

From the moment we entered we felt very welcome. We were encouraged to go below to the cellars by ourselves and look around which our 2 year old loved. Back upstairs the displays have a great sense of history of Tahbilk. Everything was on the...More

We came here for a celebratory lunch and were over the moon with the service. We were seated on the deck outside, with a spectacular view of the Nagambie Lakes, really beautiful. The food was really lovely, we all ordered different dishes, and all were...More

We were travelling north from Melbourne to Shepparton and decided to have a break by visiting the Tahbilk Winery at Nagambie. We had an amazing time tasting red wine, white wine, sparkling wine - they were all delicious and I was hard-pressed to decide which...More

Great lunch along the river at Tahbilk Winery. The staff were pleasant and the food was tasty. We had the seafood linguine and lamb. The cous cous with the lamb was a bit salty due to the large amounts of dukkah but other than that...More

Not a huge winery, but good facilities for visitors, including a modern Cafe/Restaurant overlooking the Goulburn River (we returned just for a meal). Plenty to see: old working cellars that you can walk through, plus historical displays. And over the river to several Eco Trails...More

We went back to Tahbilk Winery to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary and were greeted with complimentary sparkling! It’s the little touches that count. The food was once again fresh and seasonal and all staff were friendly and welcoming. Will always head back here.
