Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent customer service from Cooper Millgate and Jodi McEwen. Prompt service just before closing to go to the local races. Making a Hamburger & chips, Bacon and Roll with coffee's to go was no hassle for the team. Lots of interesting memorabilia, souvenirs and historic photos on show. Made to feel welcome.

Stopped here for lunch after having a look around town. A lovely place to sit and enjoy a cuppa and something tasty. The staff are friendly, there’s information on the area, and lots of bits and pieces to look at and buy.

Staffed largely by local volunteers the cafe features local crafts and second hand books. Food and drinks are good value but can be of variable quality depending upon how long ago they were made. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Good little café, we stopped for lunch and coffee and it was very nice. Set up in an old theater so there is a bit of history there too. It is also an information centre. Staff are all very nice

Stopped at the 2828 cafe on the way through Gulargambone today for lunch, initially upon entering it looks a little sparce and lacking decore, however after sitting down and being greated by the staff and a few more people came in it seemed to quickly develop that country warmth. The staff were nice and welcoming and the prices are SOOO cheep! I ordered the Cheese Burger with Chips and my Partner ordered the Rosted Chicken breast salad. Both were great, however there wasn't much chicken and could have done with another piece. I think that the Cheese Burger and Chips cost me $7 Amazing and it was a very good size, I didn't finish it all. Recommended if you're driving past or in the area! Well be back.
