Sadly, at the time of visiting, the PCH had been closed between Carmel and Santa Barbara because of a major mudslide. So we drove down to Pfeiffer to enjoy what we could of this historic coastline road. In short, it's fantastic.

Hi, sorry this has taken me SOOO long to answer, but I believe the landslides happened approximately 2 or 3 weeks after we drove along it. Very lucky!
