The 4 star rating is because of the small scale ruins, nothing impressive, but still a very nice surprise, so close to Cancun

A great place to see Mayan ruins right outside of Cancun. We spent about an hour here enjoying this intimate site. No crowds, lots of iguanas! Lots of great picture opportunities. Several excellent Oceanside seafood restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!

Similar to other reviews, the best part was the location! We stayed north of Cancun and stopped on our way to the ferry. The price of admission is reasonable ($50 pesos). The guide at the front is super friendly and taught us a few Mayan...More
