A unique and exciting way to get in touch of the true nature of the Mayan...

A unique and exciting way to get in touch of the true nature of the Mayan Riviera is on the back of a horse combined with a Cenote swim. We have healthy, well trained horses appropriate for first timers, novice and intermediate riders. Our tours are semi-private consisting of groups up to 12 riders, ensuring that everyone receives personal attention from our friendly, knowledgeable guides. We are located in a very convenient location between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. During the trail ride be ready to spot various species of birds, iguanas, butterflies and eventually spider monkeys and coatis; our guides will give you an interesting and entertaining commentary along the trails while you pass by a local plantation and follow the path that will lead you to visit a deep natural pit or sinkhole -characteristic of Mexico- resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath. We will then remount and head back to the ranch, where at the end of the ride you will be given an opportunity to take a refreshing swim in our open air Cenote and enjoy some cool refreshments.Private tours can be offered for advanced riders upon request. Please do not forget to bring bug spray, sunscreen, closed toe shoes , bathing suit & towel and be ready to enjoy a different way to spend your day.

Excellent guides-friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. Horses were healthy and well behaved. I loved that the horses had been rescued. It was a lovely ride through the jungle to a cenote. We learned a lot about Mayan chicle (gum) harvesting & tried a piece of locally made, all natural gum. Swimming in the cenote when we returned was such a cool... More

We spent a few hours at the ranch, horseback riding, touring the ranch and swimming. Our guide who was female was amazing and fun to be with. Highly recommended and well worth the money.

This was at the resort we stayed and decided to try..it was fun! The horses were tame, well cared for and beautiful! Rode through the jungle on a trail. Our guide ( woman - can't remember her name) was excellent. She gave clear instructions and shared interesting facts about the horses and jungle we walked through. Stopped at a Sonata... More

While we were staying at El Dorado Royal we took the time to visit Rancho Bonanza and we're glad we did. All the horses are rescued and were very well cared for. Our guide, Earnest showed a lot of the wild life. He took care of us while showing us the highlights along the trail. The trail is exactly as... More

We had a good time riding horses through the jungle. We got to see many animals and learn about the Mayan history.

Had an amazing time. Saul was a fantastic leader on our ride, and Tuco took beautiful photos the entire time. The cenote was a perfect way to end the afternoon. Horses are well cared for rescues, and you can see they are loved. They also have donkey, goats, peacocks and dogs. Worth the time and money!

Good experience! Staff was friendly and kept us entertained. We rode through the "jungle". Did not see as much wildlife as we would have liked. Learned a lot of interesting facts. The ranch fosters horses who are sick. We liked that they were contributing to a good cause. The cenote at the end of the ride was ok. It wasn't... More

We stayed at El dorado Royale and this was a great little excision close to the hotel. Everything was great except other people in our assigned time showed up late so we had less time to swim at the end. Not awesome at all. Otherwise it was a great little tour.
