A unique and exciting way to get in touch of the true nature of the Mayan...

A unique and exciting way to get in touch of the true nature of the Mayan Riviera is on the back of a horse combined with a Cenote swim. We have healthy, well trained horses appropriate for first timers, novice and intermediate riders. Our tours are semi-private consisting of groups up to 12 riders, ensuring that everyone receives personal attention from our friendly, knowledgeable guides. We are located in a very convenient location between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. During the trail ride be ready to spot various species of birds, iguanas, butterflies and eventually spider monkeys and coatis; our guides will give you an interesting and entertaining commentary along the trails while you pass by a local plantation and follow the path that will lead you to visit a deep natural pit or sinkhole -characteristic of Mexico- resulting from the collapse of limestone bedrock that exposes groundwater underneath. We will then remount and head back to the ranch, where at the end of the ride you will be given an opportunity to take a refreshing swim in our open air Cenote and enjoy some cool refreshments.Private tours can be offered for advanced riders upon request. Please do not forget to bring bug spray, sunscreen, closed toe shoes , bathing suit & towel and be ready to enjoy a different way to spend your day.

I took the tour with my 2 teen daughters after booking through our resort (Generations Riveria Maya). Price included transportation. Good tour for beginners, maybe not as exciting for more experienced riders looking for more of an "adventure"; our tour included families with children 8-10 years old. The guides were warm, personable, humorous and very knowledgeable, especially Cristían. The horses... More

My husband, two daughters and I had a great time last week with the guys at Rancho Bonanza. It was fun and the horses were beautiful. They were clearly well cared, spoiled even! We have all ridden before but a few of our fellow trail riders were complete novices and we all had a great ride. The guides were fun... More

My wife (47) and my daughter (13) spend the morning of February 17, 2017 with the floks from Rancho Bonanza. The hotel pick-up was on-time. My wife, first time rider enjoyed the adventure as much as my daughter who is a regular rider. The pace was perfect, the staff is attentive to details. They bought the picture CD to bring... More

This horseback riding experience through the jungle was so beautiful and enjoyable. We had amazing quides on this fun and easy horse back riding excursion. Had some time for a little excursion and the Bonanza is right on the property of the El Dorado Royale. So you don't have to leave your resort. Was a nice quiet ride with beautiful scenery. Christian was great at telling us about the different trees and history of the area.

I rode with 6 other people on March 2, 2017. My girlfriend was taking the greenhouse tour on the El Dorado property. she is not much into horseback riding, so I went and enjoyed the ride. It is a pleasure ride. No gallup, no beach, no swimming with horses and it lacked excitement. Horses well trained and if no other... More

Lovely little afternoon here. I was very nervous about riding but it was so relaxed and horses are all amazing and so calm. Best part of it is most the animals there have been recused and we'll looked after

This is a great little excision while staying at el dorado royale, staff are very helpful and great at teaching and helping beginners as well as being relaxed with experienced riders. They do a wonderful job teaching you about the local history of the area. I think this great for groups of all age groups as they have a wide... More

Everything was great, from the shuttle service to the horseback ride to the cenote. All great! Limna took lots of photos of my day and Nestor was a very nice, friendly guide through the whole experience, pointing out wildlife and history along the way. I loved seeing all of the animals - peacocks, hogs, goats, dogs, and of course horses.... More
