Plenty to do whether you like to walk, run, cycle our sail. There is also a fantastic steam railway, museum and cafe which serves the best Bread Pudding in the area! Thanks to council and volunteer support it's all free except the bread pudding!

A really nice little walk around the lake and a nice cafe for a bite to eat. Would be a good place for picnics or to take the kids with open spaces and a park.

Great afternoon learning to paddleboard with Wakelake at Chasewater. Had coffee and orange/chocolate cake in the busy cafe afterwards and a great cappuccino in the railway cafe (very friendly staff). Nice area to walk in. Free car parking.

Try silver birches caravan park, this is also a campsite nearby if you supply your own van etc. I hope this helps.
