Contrasting this with another tourist attraction I visited earlier was like day and night. From the outside the place doesn't look much but from the enthusiastic welcome through to the whole experience it was a total joy. I only went on the bush tucker trail which is a hard path suitable for wheelchairs and prams etc. There are a number... More

We visited with two families and it was really only the kids and one adult that wanted to fish. The pricing is expensive as you have to pay just to get into the area even if you aren't fishing. If you are two adults and two children 2 rods and bait are included. Keep adding on costs from there: extra... More

Arrived at the Trout Farm on a very warm day... the lady at the front desk was a bubbly lady but had a hard time trying to stop the tourists from just walking into the fishing area without paying!!! I was not interested in fishing but had to pay anyway. There are very few places to sit outside near the... More

Hi There, Thanks for your review and we are glad you had a great time. We have installed seating for an extra 30 people around the lake over the last 6 months and we have even installed a new seat yesterday in response to your review. The lake is tree lined around 3 out of 4 sides however its unfortunate... More

We've had great experiences here in the past under different ownership. Unfortunately, the current owner-Adam-lets his own attraction down. With no customer service whatsoever, he is driving people away. I am told the property will exchange hands some time after April so hope we can return with a better experience. The place has definitely been run down at present...exorbitant prices,... More

It is very clear that this reviewer has a grudge against one of the personal within our attraction, not the attraction itself. We urge all readers to ignore these comments. If our business is changing hands, please let us know... its news to us which throws out all credibility of this review. More

well-organised system for catching fish in the hard pond and easy pond. kinda dependent on the climate how successful your day's fishin turns out. better to go in the winter. trouts are closer to the surface then. kinda pricey for fish but at least you're guaranteed a catch and the thrill of reeling it in. plus they cook it for... We took the kids fishing for first time and they enjoyed every moment. Staff very nice. We spent 30 min trying to catch a fish in the big pond just for fun. You will catch for sure at the indoor pond. Food was delicious and kids loved the cooked fish. Nice experience

Very good to take the whole family for a fishing lesson, catch and eat for Lunch. Children of all ages but fishing for those above 5 or 6 best then up to their 80's. get in early and have them cook it for lunch was the best idea we had for a long time. The staff were very understanding and... More

We stopped here for lunch as my husband loves trout. We had to eat on the verandah as the combination of radios, loud music and louder customers made it literally impossible to hear each other yell. The food was lovely, but when it came to using the loo, I made the appalling mistake of going to the one *outside* the... More
