Nowhere compared to Ta Phrom. Quite far away from Siem Reap and it is not included in your Angkor Wat ticket that you have bought for $37 per person per day. You have to pay extra $5 per person and extra $10 to your guide...More

Beng Mealea.... Exploration of the dangerous kind. So disappointed to see that this temple, which is about two hours out of Siem Reap, is rapidly tumbling down. I estimate that twenty percent has fallen in since we were here three years ago, but what is...More

Beng Mealea is hidden and lost in the jungle of Cambodia. Nature took its course and the whole site has been overrun by plants. Trees grow out of stone, vines wrapped around gateways, roots have stretched through walls. Combine with the parts of the temple...More

Amazing and only $5. It was definitely a nice change to the craziness at Angkor Wat. Absolutely stunning and a great half day trip from the city.

Its a temple in a jungle. Beauty on its own. The long travel is worth it. Enjoyed walkinb around the temple. Accessible with wooden pathway. Peaceful, not too crowded.

Beng Mealea is far from Siem Reap and more than one hour drive. It is a good side trip along with Banteay Srei. Compared with other historic sites in Siem Reap. This one feels isolated and creepy (covered by trees). A lot of structures were...More
