This 18th-century inn has a good reputation for fine ale in the pub, fine British meals in the restaurant, and sweeping views from its bedrooms.

We were cycling the Devoran to Portreath route and stopped for a quick drink before returning to our car. Sunny benches outside and very quaint, will probably visit again.

Have been here a couple of times for lunch. I had moules marinere (starter portion), and my husband had a 'child's portion' of scampi and chips. Okay, so it wasn't the cheapest, but I have to say both dishes really, really delicious and plenty enough...More

I had heard many conflicting reports about this pub. It turned out the many reports were far too kind. As far as pubs go it is well placed in a quiet village with water views and I am sure is well frequented by the locals...More

The Old Quay Inn (which is a pub not an "attraction" as Trip Advisor seems to think) is a really nice local pub with some really excellent food. I've been here multiple times over the years for an evening meal and have always been impressed...More

Made the trip especially for our final meal before departing for home. Trying to park was difficult due to limited spaces once inside didn't look any busier than any other restaurants we have been in but was told we would have to wait 50 mins...More

Intended to eat here on a Sunday evening, we ended up leaving after a drink, the member of staff we saw was pleasant and helpful, beer was ok. We chose to sit in the terraced garden. I don’t know if they had been busy that...More
