One of my favorite things so far on my visit to Sardinia. The site is located 6k off the coastal road that goes between Alghero and Bosa. We found it by accident on our drive back to Alghero. It is definitely worth a visit.

I continue to be impressed with the guide Ivana, always well informed and pleasant. I often take my friends and visitors to this site as it is so close to home, and always gives a great understanding of one of the most important aspects of Sardinia

I have now taken friends to this Nuraghe and Domus de Janus a few times and each time I learn more from Ivana, who is very friendly and knowledgable. I think it is a fascinating site and well worth the visit and not far from Bosa, where many tourists stay

Ivana, with Alessandro in training, gave us a great tour of the nuraghe, around and inside, very cool! Ivana was very well informed about what is known about the ancients who built and lived there. Very good English for non Italians.... highly recommended! From Diana and Winston Warr, Tucson AZ…

This site really deserves 4.5 stars. It has recently been further excavated so now you can enter the nuraghe and our excellent knowledgeable guide kept us informed. The site is about 4,000 years old. We then were taken to the Necropolis Domus de Janas “Chirisconis” 5,000 year old burial chambers, and again it was fascinating and our guide was great. Not as grand or well equipped with bars etc, as some of the bigger and better known sites, but well worth a visit.…
