Discovering wineries without a tour guide can be a little challenging, but this was a great find. It was larger, and more friendly to sit and relax as you tasted wine. It's a larger venue and the staff was very informative and friendly.

The Castello di Radda is a treasure of a winery in the tradition of the construction of the new Antinori or Petra, but without succumbing to stark modernity - keeping stonework facades and surrounds. Winery tour was exceptionally good and very informative. Had a fine tasting of wines and were very pleased. Located near Volpaia, so it's very convenient to... More

We visited three wineries in the Chianti region one day, and this was the newest (12 years old), and the most modern of the three. Ludovigo greeted us, and is one of the owners. His English is excellent, so the tour of the winery was easily understood. The tasting was efficient. He explained thoroughly what we were drinking, and it... More

We first found Castelli di Radda two years ago, and brought back some Chianti to 'keep'. The people were very friendly and we were offered various wines to try. `So on this occasion we went back to buy some more, and once again we were were given various years and types to try. Came away with 14 bottles...We didn't do... More

We stumbled across the winery and did not have a tour organized. But we did have and excellent wine tasting with Angelika leading us through the wines. We would highly recommend the wines and a visit to the winery.

My wife and i got into Radda later in the day and once settled into our accommodations wanted a wine tasting close to town late. We pulled into this beautiful new facility at 5:00 and got a private grand tour of the wine cellar and a ton of great information about the family, the wine and the process. The vino... More

Loved this wine tour! Ludavico was a fabulous guide and we learned a lot about the process and the wines, as well as tuscany in general! It was great to be able to just drop in and have a private tour as well as have a free tasting! Would highly recommend!

A small new vineyard but we'll worth a visit. Very friendly knowledgable staff who gave a very informative description of the wine produced at the vineyard prior to the tasting and then walked us through the tasting so that we really appreciated what we were actually tasting. Not too far out of town and on the way to volpaia so... More

We received a tour of this fairly new winery from Angelika, she has to be one of the most knowledgeable staff I have encountered. She had worked in the wine business for many years, and it certainly was obvious. The winery was opened in 2008 I believe, so everything is new and state of the art. We arrived very close... More

We were staying at the My One Hotel Radda and were recommended a trip to this winery. What a wonderful experience. We were greeted by a lovely German lady (sorry didn't get her name). She proceeded to give us a one on one wine tasting experience. During this the winery's neighbours came in to buy a whole heap of wine,... More
