About Castello Monterinaldi
Book your private tour and become part of Monterinaldi by visiting the cellars, tasting the wines, learning our production philosophy. Pair our wines with local home made food, and enjoy the real Tuscan flavors. Several private events are offered at Castello Monterinaldi: cooking class, off-road adventure, hiking and more. Ask for the complete and detailed program. The Castle of Monterinaldi, situated between Panzano and Radda in Chianti, in the center of the historic zone of Classical Chianti, is near an ancient Etruscan track. This historic site is mentioned in a document written in December 1010, which refers to “the Count Gottifredo Gottizio, of Longobard stock and a gentleman of Monterinaldi.” At Castello Monterinaldi you are welcome every day!

We enjoyed the tour of the winery and the lovely lunch at the castle. We ordered wine to be shipped back to us in the states. Unfortuantly the wine still has not arrived and the winery is unable to provide us with any shipping information. Very disappointing.

Response from DanieleCiampi, Proprietario at Castello Monterinaldi
Responded 13 Nov 2019
Dear "Tuscany 2019", We are really sorry for your disappointment, especially because the care and the satisfaction of our customers is our main goal. We always respond to our customers' messages. When it is necessary to trace a shipment, we also forward a copy of the message to our courier, so that they can contact the customer directly with the latest updates. If you have not received a reply or even a contact from the courier, be sure that your original message did not arrive to us. However, this comment left anonymously does not allow us to identify your order and, consequently, to understand what the reason for the complaint is. Wine shipments to the USA require an average of 4 weeks for delivery, but this may vary depending on the time required for customs clearance. We suggest you write again or call us and give us the order reference so that we can respond quickly. Please, use the contact info printed of your order form to directly reach the right person. We still apologize for the incident and we hope your wine has been delivered in the meantime.

Castello di Monterinaldi was the first place visited on a full day winery tour for our group of 16, and it was the perfect place to start our day. Georgia, our hostess was delightful and created a wonderful experience for us all. The wines were wonderful and the experience is first rate. The property is beautiful and this is a great destination for a tour or tour and meal.

My friends and I experienced a delightful afternoon at Castello di Monterinaldi. The tour of the winery grounds followed by a tasting of their wonderful wines paired with amazing food was one of the highlights of our trip to Tuscany. Everything was excellent!

The time we spent with Georgia at this winery was amazing. She is an excellent sommelier who demonstrated a passion for Castello Monterinaldi and for wine. She entertained us as if we were in her home. We learned so much about the beautiful wine. in fact, so much so that we ordered a few bottles. The premises are breathtaking and we would have stayed there for hours.

We loved our tour and lunch at Monterinaldi! The 4 course lunch with wine pairings was one of the best meals we had in the region. Meats & cheeses to start, fresh pasta with pork ragu, chicken with potato soufflé & olive oil cake for dessert. The villa where we enjoyed lunch and the gardens are beautiful. Highly recommended!
