It's not really an attraction. It's a tunnel which allows you to reach easily Gasadalur. After landing I left the arport and took this tunnel to reach the small village of Gasadalur.

This has to be the most money spent on a tunnel per head of the destination’s population. Go the Danes! Another one of these Faroese wonder tunnel’s where one direction has priority and the other has to park up briefly in a dark cave if...More

You travel through the tunnel to view the Mulafossur waterfall at Gasadular. The tunnel is easy to negotiate and the waterfall is definitely worth viewing.

We drove under the sea to get to Vagar then through this tunnel to get to the other end of the island. I am becoming more amazed about all the tunnel construction. Wonderful for shortcuts.

There is a cafe (and guesthouse) in Gasadalur, serving lunch, cakes and coffee. Seating indoors and outdoors. Nice place. Also this year they have made a lovely marked path around the town where you walk on the soft grass. Wonderful views along the way. It...More

When we went from Bour to Gasadalur to see the Mulafossur we drove through the mountain tunnel, which was built in 2004. Before that the villagers had to do a strenuous hike over 400 to 700-meter mountains every time that they want to get in...More

Was concerned looking through the reviews how long a hike this may be out to the viewpoint and if I could take my 18 month old baby. This is a really clear and obvious path and was quite easy for us. Less than a 5...More
