Great beach so close to Setubal. Not crowded and very family friendly. Two warnings: as expected, water is on the colder side (I was fine with it, others not) and umbrella/lounges are a rip off at 20 Euros. That said, always a nice fresh breeze...More

Pristine water, lots of space and gold sand. On low tide the experience is even better, specially if going with small children as they will enjoy the small lagoons in the sand

It was a dream. The water was all shades of blue, the fine, soft almost white sand is a poem on your feet. We went in June so we basically had the place to ourselves... Kilometers of desert beach as far as the eye can...More

This beach is so beautiful. Lovely soft golden sand for miles. It was not busy at all. The sea was also lovely, cold but lovely. We all swam. The kids loved it too. One of the nicest beaches in Europe that I have been to.

A very very attractive coastline, quiet if not visiting in mid summer, has an air of calm sophistication about it.
