The falls are soothingly beautiful. As you approach it on the way up, it gets a little craggy and steep. At the spot where you can stop and be at the falls, the path becomes a one-way narrow rock pass through. As it is a popular spot when we visited it, there were a mix of minds of people there. There was a young family with one parent (a young mother) enjoying their sandwiches right where the pathway of rocks was over the water flow. There was another small group with older children who passed us and spent quiet time at the falls. A young adult couple arrived and went straight in between our camera and the falls with no regard to anyone but themselves. An older group of geared up walkers on their descent met up with their friend who was lying on a larger rock farther on the side. The older group looked very serious and determined to cut through the various groups of people there enjoying the place (and on the return path afterwards). On our way down the rocky path, another group on their way up had a very friendly person offering a hand as we passed.

The beauty of nature attracts all sorts of people. Most keep to themselves. When you come across gruffy or single-minded people, in comparison those who give an acknowledging nod, or patiently wait as you get through the shaky spots, or the one extending a helping hand improves the overall impression. Each time we visit a place, the sharing experience with others becomes a precedent we set on how we treat fellow humans and how we keep each other accountable (no matter how small the gesture).

Easy to find car park off the road. Nice short walk through the bush and you can hear the creek just below the track.
The falls on our visit only had a small amount of water flowing, but it was still well worth the visit.
In the small ponds at the base of the falls small schools of fish could be seen, which was something we didn’t expect to see.
The track is well defined and easy to follow.

Beehive Falls is known as one of the most beautiful in The Grampians. A gently undulating walking track follows Mud Hut Creek upstream to a series of rock steps, rugged cliffs with the stony valley in your backdrop - here you will find the Beehive Falls (best after rain). Enjoy the pretty rock pools and ferns. The base of the falls makes a peaceful resting spot. Return by the same route.
The area is also near some sheltered picnic spots with kid’s play areas, BBQ and drinking water facilities. Camp grounds and caravan park accommodation units are also found in this area.
In spring, the region turns colourful with many blooming flowers across the stony pathways and verdant grasslands. Apart from the spectacular walking tracks, you will come across a number of rock pools in this area.
Takes 30 minutes from Halls Gap to get here.
The route is 2.8km return or 1 hour and 30 minutes with a level of fitness of medium.
In spring this place is absolutely stunning so it's a must visit.
Not wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Bring plenty of snacks and drinks.

Weve had some good rain and so the locals recommended this falls - it is quite lovely. It's a flat walk most of the way which can be accessible until you actually get to the falls then it's stairs and a short uphill trek to the foot of the falls

It's wildflower season so most of these walks are great, this one is reasonably easy although the last section is rocky with some steps, the waterfall was great, it's quite cool and there's lots of ferns and a pool at the bottom, definitely a must see

Still stunning and don't know how it can still be flowing but it is. Track is easy but last bit to the falls is a bit of a scramble.

These falls are located in the Northern Grampians along the Roses Gap Road, or a thirty minute drive from Halls Gap on the gravelled Mount Zero Road, just off Grampians Road.
The walk,(2.8km return), follows the Mud Hut Creek, was really pretty with the wild flowers in bloom, and takes around 1 1/2hrs to complete. After crossing a bridge you come to a series of rock steps and onto Beehive Falls, which are best after rain. As it was summer, there was only a trickle of water to be seen, but the area is lovely and well worth a visit. Keep an eye out for wildlife on the walk. We spotted a wallaby and an echidna on our walk.

It's an easy 30min walk from the beehive falls carpark. It's usually at it's best after rain. But still worth a hike to see the rocky pools and ferns.
