About
This iconic work of art by Daniel Popper - Ven a la Luz (Come to the Light) is a 10-meter tall sculpture made with steel, wood, rope and greenery. The sculpture represents the harmony between people and nature and is one of the most instagrammable spots in Mexico. It is permanently installed in a garden outside the hotel Ahau Tulum and will welcome more art installations with time. The $3 USD entrance fee goes towards maintenance of the sculpture and “Care with Me”: the fundraising initiative by Art With Me supporting local communities.

Well, the entrance fee isn’t expensive. Long wait to get to the main statue. Really tiny by size and literally only 3 sculptures. The main one is impressive though.
However, some selfie, instagram people have no respect to other visitors. There’s a plaque saying: 1 min per person. But who cares?! They take their sweet time to pose and take zillion pics. While the line is melting under the sun. It’s nothing park is disappointing but visitors

The sculpture is beautiful, but you have to pay 5 dollars per person to enter the place. We went at night and didn't have to wait in line, allowing more time to contemplate and take photographs. With a queue, 1 minute per person is allowed. Apart from this sculpture, there are no other attractions.
It expresses the human connection with nature, more than 10 m tall and with a hanging garden inside its chest.

The sculpture itself was beautiful, however, paying $10 to park and $3 per person to see it is a tad overkill. We stopped by on the way to the airport so we were ONLY there for a picture, but still had to pay for a full day of parking. Got there right at opening, waited in line for 20 minutes and spent a total of $16 for a picture. I suggest stopping by on a day that you will be in the area for a while to utilize the parking fee. They do have someone there to take pictures for you, and he took ALOT, so that was a plus.

I was really excited to visit the sculpture garden, but our experience was marred by the unfriendly attitude of the lady handling donations. She refused to give change for our large bills, forcing us to visit three different stores just to break a bill. Upon entering, we found that there was only one main sculpture, and we were given just one minute to take a photo for 180 pesos. This was quite disappointing after biking far out of our way to see it. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for this attraction, as it's unfortunately overhyped on social media as being Instagram-worthy.

Photo op and that’s it. Luckily we I’ll waited about 10 min for our turn. Very small walk in and out. Every person is told a minute each for pics, no one takes a minute. Your there very long watching others take photos for social media

We visited the sculpture. The cost is 80 Pesos each. BE AWARE bring exact change as the lady tried scamming us saying she had no change. We waited until another customer gave the change we needed then past through the line.
As we were waiting I looked over as she then magically finds a heap of smaller notes in a bag under the desk.

The sculpture park is quite small (has about 4 or 5 exhibits including the Escultura Ven a la Luz sculpture). I spent around 20 minutes there looking at the pieces and taking photos. If you have some time to spare, this is a good place to visit.

If you know you want to have alot of time taking pictures with the Escultura Ven a la Luz sculpture, I suggest getting there at the time of opening which is 9am to avoid a queue. I got there approx. 9:04am and took loads of pictures. By 9:26am, a group came, a queue started forming, and people only had a few seconds to snap their photos.

Another thing to note is that entry price was 80 MXN or US$4.

Visit the Art with me park beside Ahau and see the ‘Escultura Ven A La Luz’ an iconic work of art by Daniel Popper. It’s great to see either in the daytime or at night, when it is lit up (our favourite) and it really does tower above you🍃

We’ve heard the park gets quite busy in the daytime as everyone wants to get photos, but we had no issues on the evening we went. We had a good 15 mins when it was just us both in there & it was great to admire all of the pieces of art🐚

We paid $100 MXN pesos✔️

It went really well for me, there were no people at all so I was able to take all the photos I wanted, I think that's not always the case, says the lady who sells the tickets, which is always packed.

If you bring a car there is a parking lot in front and you can leave your car all day for $200 pesos

I have all the photos I needed for my traveler IG, wear an appropriate outfit to have a good photo session, the sculpture is very beautiful and every traveler needs their photo in this emblematic sculpture of Tulum.

Our family was very excited to explore the hotel/boutique zone & see some hyped-up tourist spots. HOWEVER, we were told we would EACH have to spend $100 U.S. in order to see the Ven A La Luz sculpture, which was behind a tall fence. Prior to that, we had to drive up & down the crowded bike-filled street numerous times. We found no parking spaces, except one we had to pay $9 for in someone's yard. People were not friendly or helpful when we asked questions. We attempted multiple times to find the "Follow That Dream" sign and no one knew where it was or even seemed to care. In addition, there were only pricey shops. Do not waste your time!
