My partner and I have just returned home following a delicious and substantial afternoon tea. A selection of sandwiches, quiche, huge scones with jam and cream and three slices of cake - each!!! He prefers savouries and ate more of the sandwiches and warm quiche but there was still plenty for me. The cakes overwhelmed us, following the scones, but... More

My wife had booked us in for afternoon tea today (Valentine's Day) at the Stained Glass Centre Tearoom. It is quite a while since we had last been, It is a lovely place to visit. We were greeted by a very friendly young lady who took us to our seats. Unfortunately (?) the sun was shining through the window. She... More

We love looking around this glass centre as there is always something different to see. It is always very busy with customers looking for that special gift and also with people using the facilities of the excellent cafe. Well worth a visit.

My partner and I stumbled upon this and it was great. There is an exhibition room, to see how the glass is made. Courses available. Beautiful showroom with lamps, gifts and mirrors. Tea room and gardens. Fresh food available.

We were recommended this place to visit by a friend. The stained glass in the shop was beautiful and we bought a few items. Then went into the tearoom where we had tea and scones with cream and jam. These were delicious. A lovely place to visit

My family and I visted for a quick stop on the way to our haven site for a short break, the centre is gorgeous, we were lucky to visit when the sun was shining and caught the stained glass and it's beautiful colours our 2 year old bought a tiny glass chicken as a gift for his grandma. The cafe... More

Very interesting video on how to make stained glass although the video kept sticking. Items on display were magnificent and items on sale were reasonably priced. You can book workshops but as we were not staying in the area this was not possible. It really inspires you to have a go though and it is something that could be followed... More

Popped in on a rainy day and they had some lovely items that you could purchase. Expected to be able to see artists at work but it seemed to be a shop that sold goods. Brought a small item and didn't dare ask if we could see anything being made as the person serving wasn't the friendliest person and just... More
