We had a lovely walk here and had lunch at a nearby restaurant with a fabulous view of the beach and the islands. A must!

It's clean, fun place to take your family or even to just relax your self... But the best part is the amazing turtle season! A lifetime experience very BEAUTIFUL

It`s a nice spot just next to the capital Cayenne and you can always be certain of getting a good spot there are the beaches in Guiana are never packed (only I guess during the turtle season). There are some threes to set up your hammock and water is nice and warm, just a bit brown as most of the waters in Amazon region.

very few people on the beach, it seems local people do not like much beaching, very few tourists, some kite-surfing, excellent local food in the "carbet" restaurant above the beach where you' won't miss the wild shrimps in spicy sauce...maybe you'll indulge with a glass of punch but be careful, they always leave you the bottle on your table, preparing for a nice nap on the sand. some people dislike the place since the sea water is brown or yellowish due to the numerous river sediments...but it won't kill you and it won't tint our skin and hair... then just dive and enjoy, you might meet some luth tortoises in they're in the mod for it !
