Nice small hike. My 4 year old was able to hike up to the waterfall and backdown again easily. It cost 200 baht per person to enter no matter what your age. The hike to the waterfall is around 15 minutes (we had three kids...More

A short and pleasant shaded walk. Can be combined with the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project, but questionable if either is worth the effort.

...in every sense of the word. We went to Bang Pae Waterfall on a busy day and it wasn’t. Gorgeous waterfall about a ten minute easy walk from the car park. Lovely swimming holes towards the top which we had to ourselves and genuinely cold...More

We travelled the south-side of Phuket today, and visited 'Bang Pae Waterfall'. Absolutely spectacular; but remember to take $200 baht, to be allowed access to this beautiful landmark.

We combined this with a visit to the Gibbons Rehabilitation Project. There is a small fee, but we still felt it was worth it as the waterfall was nice and we enjoyed our trip there.

You have to pay 200b each person. None of the money goes to the gibons you can see / visit there aswell. The hike to the waterfall takes around 10 minutes but you can't actually swim there. Wasted half day for this, wouldnt recommend.

After spending an hour in the Gibbon Rehabilitation Project Centre the waterfall is a nice 20min walk up the hillside to a peaceful & surprisingly cool little waterfall. Worth the short trek

The trail starts fairly straightforward but then becomes challenging. Wear good shoes.
