When you first walk up to the provincial Park area, you are first met with an old wooden boardwalk. As you enter the wooded area, there are many large ?fibreglass Disney character structures in the woods - then another then it turns into a large playground area. All the structures are old, but they are still a lot of fun... More

The place was very easy to miss when driving by but we managed to find it. We brought our two dogs and two young kids. They loved the play structures, and my inner kid was dying to go on the big slides that I have never seen at any other park. The place had so much to play on for... More

My three-year-old loved this spot! Some of the play structures are old (and metal) but she loved them and the characters hiding around the grounds.

This was a very cool place for the kids but I wouldn't recommend going into the forest in the summer as there were tons of mosquitos and we were there the end of June. It has tons of play structures and lots for the kids to do to keep them busy all day. It's right beside the water and there... More

It's an excellent park for kids. Multiple play structures, including a wooden fort with lookout tower, 3-story metal climbing structure with slides, statues of fairy tale characters and more. Clean washrooms. The best part is that ice cream is only 75 cents for a regular size scoop in a cup or cone. Lots of flavours, ADL brand. Amazing deal! My... More

Great place for kids. They have a couple new "jungle gyms". It is free to visit, has a canteen and a small beach. The new equipment includes a 3 level "tower" with multiple slides, they also have some new smaller equipment as well. Lots of retro metal playground equipment of yesteryear. Tends to be a lot of bugs there, although... More

We stumbled on this park, as we were looking for a place to have a picnic. It is a great park for kids. The woods have statues from fairy tales. There is also a nice little beach for swimming as well. The park is very well kept and very clean. A great find. We enjoyed our picnic and walked around... More

Lots of space, classic playground equipment that will stir memories of a bygone era, a concession stand, picnic areas, small beach. Kind of out-of-the-way, I doubt this place ever gets very crowded. A relaxed atmosphere where you can destress.
