Visited this area to see the sockeye salmon run. Not spectacular this year but we were lucky to see the counting process underway on the Adams river. Next year is set to be the big one!

Good campsite on a beautiful lake side location. A small supermarket in the nearby town which is pretty good. A lot of mosquitoes at the end of June,

Arrived on a Tuesday. Beach was deserted, however there were a few campsites that were occupied. Park staff very friendly and had exceptional customer service. Spectacular views, but it appears the park store and a nice restaurant have been shut down.

Get in early as this is a popular campground and the only public campground for a long ways. Lots of trees so can be chilly. Great beach and bbq areas.

One of, if not, the nicest larger provincial campsites in B.C. Best times are late spring or early summer as the forest is so fresh and green. Quiet also. Private, clean campsites.

Nice park, well paved throughout and good campground. We had been told there was good hiking in the park, but found the trails to be pretty basic (most of the trail is along the park fence with barbed wire, giving it a bit of a...More
