Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This blue flag beach is 10 minutes from Killahoey strand/Dunfanaghy beach which we also checked out on the same day. You park along the road and it was very busy. I didn't see a proper carpark but maybe we missed it as it was our first time here. There is a shack that sells coffee and ice creams which we didn't join the queue of. There are public toilets which we passed enroute to the beach which we didn't use either. We spent an hour here but easily could have spent longer. It was quite windy on the day but you could shelter with the aid of the rocks. The beach looked wheelchair accessible at one point to me which is great. Would highly recommend and will return one day🤞

My daughter and husband went surfing there and I stayed for the 2 hours. Stunning beach. Busy enough as it is used by the surf schools, but the beach is big enough to easily absorb all the people. Stunning sand and good waves for beginners. Small beach coffee shop defo helped! A hidden gem.

Marble Hill Strand is the closest beach to Dunfanaghy & is surrounded by lovely wooded countryside. It's family friendly & has easy access. The fine golden sands are typical of the superb beaches all across Co. Donegal.

"Now I will set sail, I will give and hazard all, for I know it is only by journeying that I will find a peace within"
Having travelled the world, it is at Marble Hill that I feel most at peace and inspired.
The most beautiful, serene beach - but don't tell anyone.

Echoing other writers this is an absolute gem of a beach and to find it with less than 20 people on a sunny September day was amazing.

White sands and clear blue waters reminds me of the Côte d’Azur!
Not to be missed if you are fortunate enough to be in Dunfanaghy in the sunshine.
Suitable for people of all age groups.
Hinterland scenery is breathtaking!
Bring the surfboards and the wetsuits.

Splendid isolation on the sands and a delightful coffee shack after a bracing walk....or surf, for the adventurous....just one of many must visit beaches in County Donegal, Eire.
The Shack is situated above the Marble Hill Beach, approximately 30km from Letterkenny, and part of the famous Wild Atlantic Way. Very friendly, welcoming staff at this tiny venue....open year round....An excellent selection of reasonably priced coffees plus tasty pastries. It's standing room only in the Shack itself, but plenty of seating with handmade cushions, and on a bracing winters day, thoughtfully provided woollen blankets to keep out the chill.

One of the best beaches we visited on the Wild Atlantic Way….we had it all to ourselves. Miles of golden sand, fantastic views out to sea and loads of seabirds to watch.
