Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The beach is literally PINK. The sand is white mixed with red coral sand which resulted in the pink color. The sand is also very soft. Awesome!

This beach is an interesting place to check out while in Komodo National Park. Be wary of heavily edited instagram pictures however, it's not as pink as many photos show it to be. That being said, it does live up to its name. Red corals and shells, pulverized over millennia by the waves and hungry parrot fish, have definitely made this beach unique. While not a "must-see", it's definitely worth stopping into. Also, there's a little hike up to a bluff overlooking the beach. Bring some good shoes ;)

Of course it's always stressed out how it is a "pink beach" because of all the red coral which has decomposed into sand and created this colour but it will never look like those photos you see on Instagram which have a lot of colour correction. It is barely pink and there usually a lot of people around. You can try to do snorkeling as well but there are so many better places to go. For a view you could go to Padar Island which is one of the best places in the komodos and for snorkeling there are lots of other places with manta rays.

In my opinion the pink beach is slightly overhyped and you shouldn't go with high expectations because of all the trash left by tourists.

The beach is really pink. When the waves roll in it looks like strawberry milkshake :). The sand is so soft, and the water is crystal clear. So beautiful

This sand beach is actually quite nice to walk on and to swim at. It is actually a white sand beach coloured by ground pink coral to give it its pink hue.
